after the first half episode i already knew this would be interesting. i showed it to my parents, they usually dont like complicated subtitles but the drama is quite easy to understand even non-verbally. not sure if i would have watched it till the end on my own as i am notorious for dropping dramas mid season. but my mother pressured me to watch it together and i didnt regret it. definitely one of the strongest dramas of 2022 and its even free to watch.

if you saw episode 3 you pretty much know what youre into, its not getting better or worse.
the last episode indeed was a bit janky. the main character was on its way getting instated as the ceo, the drama could have ended here but instead the mc was killed by none other than his original past self and the story goes on where he died in episode 1. i think this was where it unnecessarily went downhill. it can easily be prevented by skipping the last episode. if you want a happy end also skip the last 3 minutes of episode 15.
i have this drama in my top5 so im probably not the best to rant about it.
Probably not my favorite currently, however a high contender that i always watch without a second thought. It made me think a bit why i like it so much and here are another 4 reasons why.
1. The lead has an identity the watcher knows about, but the other characters dont. Propelling the lead to new heights and bonding with the viewer through a shared secret. 2. The economic setting in a company group is refreshing and well planned out. It was very inspirational for me, even though i dont have any millions lying around to buy a major manufacturing company. 3. An interesting look into modern koreas past. I heard about things like the rise of kpop, IMF stuff and the internet bubble. But never did it feel so relateable. 4. Though we obviously are in the field of fiction here the story by its imaginary rules makes sense and feels credible, to a point i can totally immerse and lose myself in that world. When the soundtrack hits im immediately in the right mood.
