I don’t know who said something about watching dramas with their brain turned off but I’m sure they meant clearing their thoughts away from life issues. There’s several good BLs from Thailand but all depends on what each person considers as good.

Unknown became one of my favorite BLs very quickly. It touches all the emotions seeing a kid raising 2 kids ...and to think those things do happen in real life! Taiwanese and Japanese BLs are for the most part strong emotional stories with solid acting made with low budgets.
BLs in the category of Deep Night, Playboyy, Unforgotten Night, Only Friends... are there to be watched just for pure entertainment . Not to be taken seriously or for educational value. For those times when you don't want to watch something deep. At least that's how I see them.
Taiwan doesn't have many BL series but when they do make one it is for sure a big hitter.
....and with low budgets! It proves that when there's a great story with great acting you don't need big budgets injected with product placements that many times distract from the story.

We got a 3some in Playboyy too. Jump, Teena and Soong with guns pointed at heads scene that got interrupted by First's infamous frase. That counts, right?
