Kim Tan's Mother is the highlight of this episode

I have no idea where this drama is leading us to but boy do I enjoy watching Kim Tan's Mother and her interactions with other characters (especially with Eun Sung's Mother. She brings some fresh air to the stereotyped rich cast.

Also a special mention to Young Do - he's quite the conflicted character.

Boys over flowers meets School 2013

Interesting episode, I adore: Eun Sang X Young Do X Kim Tan friendship/relationship, Kim Tan X Kim Won, the interactions with other students (and the class system) and finally the funny relationship between Eun Sang Mother (the note pad lady :D) & Kim Tan's mother.

What's bland: Kim Won & his gf and also the cheating parents.

Looking for: I do hope Eun Sang stands up for herself and the bullied student, ultimately seeing changes in how people treat each other because of the system.

Forget the main couple: It's Young Do's time to shine.

Ask me what I remembered from this episode and I will say Young Do, the adorable Mums (the mistress and the housekeeper) and Paint Ball.

This episode focused on Young Do and his relationship with his Dad. If you are an avid drama watcher, you might notice he resembles Logan from Veronica Mars. They share that same complex relationship with their scandalous and abusive fathers, are disliked by most & live that lonely life in a wealthy household.

Sadly in this case there is no Veronica Mars.

We also have mirroring relationships with the Kim Brothers and their lovers. Will both choose their lovers over the Corporation?

Finally can I just say... Kim Tan's and Eun Sung's mothers are adorable together.

The episode you've been waiting for

We finally get to see an episode that really makes use of its air time. In this episode secrets are revealed, and we especially become attached to the Kim couples (Both couples are so alike!), Kim Tan's Mother (a very heartbreaking one) and Young Do.

I was hesitant in watching any more after episode 11, but I'm glad I stayed.

Not bad

A good episode though I did skip some parts particularly the scenes with the parents (and their possible scandalous history).

What's making me watch this drama is my curiosity for Kim Tan's interaction with his cold brother and his ex-best friend (haha it feels like School 2013 all over again). Though it will be tricky considering one wants the crown, the other wants the girl?.

Unfortunately the male casts are more likeable characters, than the female counterparts. There is one female character I enjoy watching which is actually Eung Sang's mother (A strong-willed and quick-witted mother who suffers from a speaking impairment)

I think as the drama progresses I hope to enjoy Eung Sang's presence, along with the other female supporting characters. Fingers crossed by episode 4/5 we can finally get the drama started.

In Gatsby's eyes

After watching two episodes I find it slightly difficult to like any of the characters aside from Chan Young - Secretary's son (Min Hyuk). I feel as though I'm watching the Great Gatsby where practically everyone was unlikeable aside from Nick.

Hopefully everyone turns out for the best and resolves their family issues... everyone seems to feel unloved. What the heck, I guess the misery from everyone is a good start - so we can start seeing happy faces later on :)

Holding on

It was a hit and miss episode. I enjoyed the supporting lead's presence, flashback and appearance of the male lead. There were a few scenes that were out of place, and could easily be cut off. The teaser for next week looks hopeful :)

A Worthy Episode

At first I saw this drama as the remake of the Japanese version, however after this episode things take a turn.

By the end of this episode I realised why another version was necessary: To see on a more detailed level how Bok-Nyeo regardless of her cold exterior affects the people around her & her dark past.

We're at the halfway mark now, so I'm curious as to see how this drama will follow considering the original was only around 10 episodes.

Slow paced, but there's potential!

This episode purely focused on Seung Hee's story. I love her character - she strives to be a great writer yet is going to the wrong path in order to succeed. I rated it lower due to the rather slow paced story (skipped quite a bit).I hope we see some good character development and of course an appearance by the male lead, please!
