Finally a happy ending. Not a perfect drama by any means, but we finally get to see the main couple get married, an ode to their fake wedding in the first episode. I was a little sad that Director Lu died and Lu Chang and his father only made up at the end. Another thing that kind of irked me was SML. I thought he was over Mingshu but why is he writing her letters he’s not sending and making cryptic messages to himself. Is he thinking of going after her again in the future? idk that scene was kind of weird. The final battle was a let down and the editing was terrible. Like it cut scenes and then towards the ending, the audio didn’t match the scene, like there was a delay. Well at least it’s over. it wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t particularly good either. I stayed because I wanted to see the ending. Will I rewatch it? Probably not. Will I recommend it? Maybe. But I won’t rave about it. If you have time and patience then I say go for it. Just don’t expect too much. It’s not a big budget drama and although some of the actors are famous, there are no outstanding actors that truly makes this drama stand out. I would give it a 7.5 out of 10.

I was thinking about him and Su Tangli but she matches more with the cute guard 🥰 I do hope he finds happiness though and I hope Prince Yu gets what’s coming to him

The plot twists keeps twisting 👀 btw for those that have watched episode 23, was there a section missing the subtitles and audio? it was also missing in episode 18. Think I might rewatch episode 18 on Viki just to see that part.
