I wasn’t originally planning on watching this cause the premise didn’t really peak my interest but I became a fan of Ji Jin Hee after watching Take Care of Us Captain and also read from a lot of people that this drama was really funny… Story- In the beginning it was new so it was very simple but the plot became very weak in the second half that I lost interest even resorting to playing it in the background while I do other things. One positive though is that the writers made many hilarious situations, which made for many funny scenes and welcome laughs. The ending was very simple and predictable. Acting/Cast/Characters- You have 2 veteran actors paying the main roles so of course the acting was top notch. Although Yoo Ah In and Kim So Eun were playing supporting roles they were really good and got to show off their acting chops. The rest of the cast was just okay and not really memorable. I wanted to mention that the character development for the main male character was kind of disappointing. For the longest time I did not like the character and I was expecting him to let go of some of his annoying personality traits. By the end you come to understand why he is the way he is, but still its hard to accept. Music- It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t memorable either. Rewatch- It’s not horrible enough to not watch again but because I wasn’t that engaged in the story I probably wont want to. Overall The Man Who Can’t Get Married really isn’t that engaging but if you like the main actors enough and want some laughs I’d recommend this.
