I watched my first drama seven years ago. It was already three years old at the time but it took me off guard, It was Bad Love, 2007. I could feel the love, loss and everything in between in the drama. That is something I have not felt in many Western shows and I can count on one hand how many I have had same feelings for. Korean dramas however, they are THE exclusive country of origin for all of my beloved characters and stories. I guess I started somewhat early in watching dramas and listening to Kpop music as I find myself to be Noona to many more actors and idols than I care to admit, however, there are still a few hot groups out there that I can still call Oppa. lol. I watched Korean everything evolve into the word, Hallyu. When My Love From Another Star and Moon Embracing the Sun made girls (boys too) , act the love fool and vow to move to South Korea to marry a "Oppa" like the dramas. Still, not a bad idea. ㅋㅋ I did not do all that however I was inspired to learn Korean and I would like to work for Soompi or AllKpop on the side if I would ever have the opportunity.
