In the novel i disliked qiqi as well but not as much. Qiqi said sorry to huan'er and like semi tried to rekindle the friendships without the sole focus being on song... but in the drama i hated how huan'er just became a pushover and forgave her just because she cried

they are kinda Standart but in my opinion not as well executed as like in my secretary Kim, but might just be personal preference.

i can take a certain amount of unseriousness but it gets to much. For every geniune and fun scene there are five forced ones. The Director also does a very very bad job imp if trying to mix humor with seriousness. The more intense scenes feel out of place when before met with something silly. Had big hopes and i will give it some more episodes but right now its all over the place

In theory you could just watch the first 10 minutes of episode 1 and then skip mist of the ep and watch the last 10 minutes the stuff inbetween mostly gets repeated.. i will watch episode 3 and 4 If you want I can come back and tell you if its worth it :)

ep 2 from her pov was a lot more interesting but tbh if not for jinyoung i would have already dropped the drama😭

true they really get a lot of screen time but thats honestly why i enjoy this drama so mich that every character is important and really let the characters interact and come to life

i am really hoping its just a "phase" and that he will see that this is wrong and stops before je does any harm. i loved the crew as friends even though the friednship sadly is not really part of the plot anymore
