If I were the writer, I can just write that they found another supreme master that could heal him, or discover another magical herb or pearl that could extend his life. Easy. lol

Dylan has heavy Sichuan accent. He definitely has to be dubbed.

China has a lot of dialect, and some dialect is very hard to the ear. For example, Dylan Wang's Sichuan's accent. If they uses his actual voice, the whole drama will look so weird, especially if it's an ancient setting drama. Just imagine Dong Fang Qing Chang speaking in Sichuan accent, will be hilarious.

I am able to finish this entirely because of Dylan Wang's performance and the character DFQC. Yu Shu Xin apparently is a very popular idol in China, regardless of her acting skill.
