Unpopular opinion but I think that Love and Destiny is way more well done than Eternal Love. I felt that I could…
Not really unpopular opinion and I absolutely agree with you. I felt Love and Destiny was much better in every way. The main couple, and also side characters/stories. I love Yun Feng, Qing Yao, Siming and XiSan. All were written very very well! I am going to rewatch this now since there is nothing better to watch nowadays.
I'm almost at the end but I'm a little bit pissed off with how Ling Xi treated Jiu Chen when she came back from…
I think she is in the middle of identity crisis, and also mixed feeling. When she was Momo, she was very heartbroken and that is something she couldn't forget even when she regain her memory. She will explained her feelings later on, which I think is quite reasonable too.
was Jae Hyuk cheating Yerim again at the end? Where she took his phone at the night? I was kinda hoping they would…
No he did not. I wanted them to work out too but seems like she could forgive him but she could never forget what he did. When the trust is gone, its just hard to continue the relationship. :(
After reading some of the comment I dont know if I should watch this... I wanted to see Jang Hyuk but it seems like a either you love it or hate it drama.
Had to come here to drop a comment on one of my favourite drama that I couldn't rewatch because it's too tragic. I finished this many years ago and I still vividly remember the story and the impact on my feelings while watching. Came to comment because I just finished World of the Married. And it occur to me the similarity, not the story but the theme and feeling. Both is about obsession. And left a deep impression on me. Excellent drama and acting for both drama.
but this drama is definitely not everyone's cup of tea. I have a lot of friends who dropped after 2 episodes and a lot more who doesn't even dare to start. There's just too much to take in.
she did went overboard tho, maybe punished isnt the word to describe it but she realized that
IMO she doesnt have to fix everything. She doesnt have to fix her ex husband. She doesnt have to fix her son’s perspective towards his father. She just have to let go a little and just like the older madam said to her, let nature take its course.
Just finished this drama and WOW. This is really good. Why didn't I watch this earlier? I hesitated because I thought there was too much politic and too little romance. And wow, this story was able to make me love watching a genre that I never thought I would like. Great writing, great acting, great story flow, great ending. One of the best Chinese drama I'd ever watched.
at ep 25 now. mmm whatever happened and will happens whatever its good or not, after all, I feel like itsn't worth…
I hope you made it through all the episodes. Its not just choosing the new emperor, and the story is never about that. It's about how Lin Shu/Mei Chang Shu trying to clear his father, his family name, his army and people to supported them. It's about justice and truth.
This women is a damp selfish, wicked, poisonous, greedy, vengeful, arrogant, ungrateful, insane and inhumane person.…
Wei Yan Wan is a fiction character in Ruyi. The consort she was based on was also the main character in Yanxi Palace. And this consort was a really good person there. LOL. Don't get confused with dramas.
An excellent production, but an absolute hard-watch. I had a tremendously difficult time as a woman viewing this…
I agree with you. But I also I think the ending was really beautifully written. It gave a lot of honour to the late empress. Written history may not be the truth that we know. This story may be fiction, but I watched Yanxi first, and a lot of things didnt make sense. As heartbreaking as Ruyi may be, it does make sense. Too close to reality.
I am going to rewatch this now since there is nothing better to watch nowadays.
