You are right. But I am used to this, because the huge difference in look are even bigger in K-drama. A lot of Korean ML I think is not good looking at all, but perhaps it's the charisma that charms. But for women, easy way to be successful in entertainment is to look beautiful, and even if acting sucks also ok.
