I prefer SOKP too mainly due to the romance there is much much much more intense. I like RRY and NYZ as a character on its own but their romance is very boring 😂 and yes like someone mentioned NYZ was too righteous. I really really hope to see him playing grey ML ( prisoner of beauty).
I absolutely hated LTG plot line of being obsessively in love with his shifu however I have to give him props…
I was still ok with it until he forced the wedding with his sifu towards the end. I thought he was growing up, maturing and come to term that his sifu is in love with another man. They should have use that very little time left in the drama to grow LTG and YY relationship. But nooooo, the writer still want to rub LTG’s crazy obsession into our face. 🙄

Yes, it has been discussed that he lacked of mother and father figure. And this develop into an unhealthy obsession with his sifu. He is like a man-child clinging to his mother. Crying and doing nonsense to get attention. I also don't see his obsession with his sifu as romantic feeling. He needs love. But the drama over-played that as romance feeling.

One k-drama really got into me, with man/woman tangled relationship that developed into romance was Secret (starring Ji Sung). I couldn't get that drama out of my head. Its exactly like the dynamic in SOKP, how they develop the feeling of fear and hate, into love. Love it!! Seems like toxic but if written and acted well, it's not toxic at all. Just like JXN and XW.
LTG is clearly into dom/sub relationship. Everytime YY snapped at him or taking control, he is low key enjoying it. LOLOL. At first I didn't like this pairing but they grew on me. And I was hoping they will show a bit of their life in the end, but I was disappointed they didn't.
