Must watch , great pace, loved it !
Story is great and well paced . We see a who doesn't know her identity girl going to through hardships to become mature empress at the end . Still playful though. Fu yao is orphan living as slave then it gets exciting when she meets wu ji crown prince of megrez who she believes is imposter , it gets exciting when she learns kung fu under water .
As the story proceeds she gets stronger each time as she lifts seals put on her , gets to know her identity as queen of xuanxi , meeting wu ji in each sect and becoming inseparable and completing their tasks very tactfully.
Ending feels rushed though happy although it is some people are confused it is happy we as non Chinese speakers couldn't understand but i saw a review of a Chinese speaker which says do not be fooled by how fuyao talks about hypothetical world and they may have died , no lived as shown in next scene. So it is happily ever after for the two
