Explained: Why Song Weilong Feels Like a Second Male Lead in Shine On Me https://www.tonboriday.com/2025/12/shine-on-me-sparks-debate-as-viewers.html
I HONESTLY don’t think that is true. Song Wei Long is the ML - there is no doubt about that . It’s just that their paths crossed a teeny bit later than usual that is all. The story’s still centered around him and the FL .
Yeah, I also wondered HOW he was still able to crush on her even if he has this HUGE misunderstanding about her.…
Yes there was instant attraction and there was nothing he could do about it . I mean he has had his eye on her for 2 yrs or so? But he also probably realized that something is not adding up.
That’s because she has not given it a closure . She has never made anything clear
There were opportunities but she becomes tongue tied whenever she sees him even when he says the most wretched and meanest things to her . That is her issue. Let’s hope that she gets it out of her system and be done with it. All the confidence she has regained should help her

I really like how the ML is taking a chance with her even though he still has that misunderstanding about the car accident in the background. It takes a lot of courage to take that step since that accident caused so much damage to him. Him making that effort to get to know and understand her will help move this relationship forward. This drama is so beautifully done!
As I am rewatching- she was already into him when they went to that wedding - because she asking him all these questions about his personal life but I guess she did not want to admit it :)
The person he was talking to was right in front of him. It’s the other person’s fault for eavesdropping, and…
I like the whole courting process -yes but it’s bout time she makes a decision and a clear choice . How long can one tolerate this kind of ambiguity even in real life?
I am rewatching episode 7 with ZX and Rong in that cafe . And I am wondering what would happen if Rong found out that the group that wiped out the strawberry cakes in that store was XG and her friends . Now I would like to see that unfold 😂😂
