CZ just lost his marbles in ep 34 . It was completely unnecessary but given the way his character is written - he is a little unhinged from the beginning. But they did spend too much time and energy on him

I am not at all talking about the romance angle but his manipulative and sneaky nature . He was like a puppeteer pulling strings in the background . The ML pegged him for who he was- a man with hidden agendas

I think the FL trusts Chu Zhao too much. How can she be so blind and a strategic soldier at the same time? That is what I don’t get
