Yes she was - she harbored a lot of resentment and blamed everyone else for her faults/shortcomings.

Yeah there is no sugarcoating here at all. Ultimately though the parents were at fault here for Bei Yu’s death because they were not strong and decisive enough to take her back with them . Especially the dad. They really did not nurture her or care about how she grew up. They are the same with the FL too- turning a blind eye to how it is affecting her and all the bullying that is going on. Yep very realistic portrayal. There are many cultures that have this kind of gender bias.

It’s all fine that she wanted to know more about what happened to her sister but her meeting the abusive boyfriend in ep 6-7 was scary!

Hmm not sure about that. Have to see. There is definitely gender bias in the family - it is very obvious and they also don’t treat her well. She is basically paying g for her sister’s actions- which is totally unfair and the mom is trying to push everything including the bullying under the rug while the dad is useless. So no - the FL does not have anyone who sees thing from her viewpoint.

Well all I can say is that this FL is impressive and the actress played the role beautifully!

It may have been lighter than death but it was way more humiliating because she had to live with that as a reminder. She was someone who used her beauty as woman and they marred that beauty- that is why she was hell bent on revenge. That is why she turned even more vicious. LOL no I don’t pity her - she is a snake - they should have gotten rid of her carefully

Finally wrapping up this drama - I am on ep 33 and this drama has not faltered even once! I agree though, Wei Liana should not have died. Oh well! The price they all paid for cutting off her nose!

I am going to watch this for William Chan! one of my favorite actors. His dramas are all layered and intriguing ! Can’t wait to see him again!

I Get why she did not want to get back together with him but there was no reason for her to hate him and try to destroy His company. If she really did not want to see him again she could have rejected that project. That was a little much. It did not make sense at all. There was no second chance here
