I am wondering the same. How did Wang and the CEO of the other shoe company,Lu, escape. The business side could have been made way more interesting because there was a lot of meat there . This was such a miss

I think the last three episodes of this drama were more meaningful than the entire drama😂🤣. They really wasted 24 episodes before they got to the meat of the story. As I am watching the last episode I am thinking - Arthur Chen is such an amazing actor he kept us engaged till the end. He brought a certain intensity to this role as well. Overall it is a one time watch but I have to admit the lead actress is a letdown along with the script . I don’t think she could fully convey everything her character was supposed to. My final rating for this drama will be 7.5 - and all of it is going to Arthur Chen . He truly does not disappoint!

So basically they both lost a lot and went through too much during that break up period . He was more resilient than her though . She just transformed all her sadness and guilt in to hating him and holding grudges for 7 yrs . I don’t know the scriptwriters could have done a better job with all of this. But now I get why she does not want to be together with him again. Her mom’s death hurt her so bad. The story telling is just plain awful. The leads have performed well but man the script again 😬

A beautiful lie and this one are poles apart . There is actually a story here but it is just that it is not well sorted out . This one is definitely watchable from beginning to end. And from what I gather - a real happy ending . If there was one drama that was very bad that was A Beautiful Lie

I felt like the balance of the business and romance elements was lost because they made the ML’s pining for the FL the main story. They could have capitalized on the ML’s business challenges esp much if only they had tried. I am watching ep 25 and thinking - why did the writers make the ML a ‘Romeo’ and the character became so weak when there were so many other things going on that could have boosted THE ML’s character and also made the FL more interesting . Clearly the writer did not know what they were doing here. They just lost their marbles

There are definitely a lot of strengths in his character - that is why he chose to play it but the way the story is written diluted all of it

How much more is he going to degrade himself? A hopeless character. She even trashed those shoes. I just feel like throwing up at his character right now🤮. He is making himself unattractive by doing this. When will these men learn that when a woman says ‘no’ then they need to respect it? And the scriptwriter is a woman?

Ok I am watching ep 24 and yes this drama is a lost cause . At this point they are just beating a dead horse . Well it’s not going to come alive . Why should he take crap from Wang? He is the owner of a company- he needs to behave like one
