Ok. It’s one thing to be capable of doing so. But here the FL is distant . I think both do exist where people can be normal while some cannot cope. I don’t think we can categorically say only one exists . Atleast that is my take on it. The coping may differ from individual to individual

lol- I am glad you agree with me on this. And that is what I meant in my first comment . But in an abridged version. If people are expecting ‘First Frost ‘ here then it is not . I am glad that it is not - because to trivialize her mental illness would be unreal and disrespectful to peope who go through this .

Agreed that could be subjective and yes I am a bit biased because I do love how Bai Ali portrays her roles . But with regards to Fl not being head over heels with ML - it is understandable given everything she has been through . She is barely clinging on to her sanity and is filled with hurt, hate and trauma. Her past is haunting her . Not sure this is the right mindset for romance . It would have been out of place if they had made her so normal as to develop feelings for the ML . He husband is a check list for her - so what ? She has to sort herself out first . People are being unrealistic here

I have not gone to that part of the story yet . But right now at least she is consumed with hurt, revenge and trauma. How can she even think of developing feelings for a person? Yes she is cold and distant because that is how one is when they are hit by severe trauma .

Well it is the truth about people . In dramas like this the firs t thing they do is bash the actress who plays the FL lead just like women get blamed for everything that happens on society Lol. These are not labels they are facts .

I agree. But there will be more to Qin for sure. Otherwise they will not make him an important character . He will be the downfall of the Marquis . He will have some role to play in the main story other that just fighting for the dad’s affection

I guess the FL bashing and sorry bashing because the romance is not moving forward has started . Bai Lu actually is excellent in this role but I guess some people are noticing . And they are expecting a traumatic mentally ill woman to be all loved up. Fantastic! Does that even make sense??? I guess this is nothing new for this forum

I don’t think a scene is necessary. The thing is the FL is too traumatized to feel any sort of affection for anyone. Her revenge outweighs everything else for her . She is also mentally ill . So given all that it is understandable why she is that way. I have no complaints. In fact the story is very interesting because of all this. I don’t get why people always want a linear boring romance where the couple is so lovey dovey that they forget the reality around them. I think both ML and FL are carrying some heavy baggage here and do have responsibilities. People have lost the patience to wait for a good story to unfold slowly. One slow episode or if the ‘romance’ is not moving they start complaining . But there is so much going on in this story that is worth paying attention to.

Just started this- the first episode hooked me!

I can have my opinion about characters - you are acting as though I personally insulted you. But anyway - I dont need to justify anything to you . If I don’t like the first episode or FL character I will say something.

I am not rating it. But honestly first episode was below par for me . Not my cup of tea. Look this kind of story has been done a million times
