Yes if it is a real relationship it is very hard to move on. The ML himself seems to have taken 8yrs to move on and it still does not seem to be enough. Except that with the FL is a one sided crush for quite some time whil XJC dated a million other women and did not even seem to notice her for this long even though she has been there . That is the problem - what she has seems more like a pathological obsession and no one seems to know why that is. Plus now he has fallen in love with her friend and she is still obsessed. She did lead the ML on to a certain extent even if he came on to her a little hard. So that is why it looks like she is playing with the ML

Yes both their behaviors are cringey at this point. He is coming down too hard on her and she is being very ambiguous - my point is - she did lead the ML on a little bit too. He needs to slow down and just not see her for sometime. But even without the ML she needs to stop fixating on the guy who has fallen for her friend and rommmate . That is so wrong and he has clearly never looked at her that way . I am waiting for the day the friend comes to know about the FL’s feelings for the SML which I think will also happen sooner rather than later. What a mess!

I agree - the FL needs to sort out her mess and let down that baggage but she can be a little more gentler with the ML because it’s obvious she cares about him. The issues is she is still so hung up on XJC who loves her best friend- that is a little cringey to me. The FL is ambiguous and feels like she is paddling 2 boats at the same time . Yes the ML needs to leave her alone and I don’t think he should be her friend either because that is going to get complicated . He needs to diappear from her life for a little bit so things become clear to her.

For heaven’s sake - the ML needs to dump the FL. She is totally not worth it. She does not deserve him. I am not even sure why she is so fixated on the 2nd ML. The guy just keeps using her. The FL has major issues - and her friend and roommate was together with him. At the point the FL’s crush is just disgusting
