I am watching The love you give me right now and it pales in comparison - can’t take any of the childishness or stupidity there. TTEOM is up there for me as one of my favorite dramas. And I have reconciled with the ending

Yes I understood this much from the last episode. An extremely complex story 💕

We should rate this drama highly for the complexity of the characters , the acting and story arcs. But other than that the main story itself had a very biased outlook to it. Of course it hinged a little on the reality which is the dual nature of the human being I.e. both good and evil but to say you have to eliminate one to get rid of the other is not realistic.

Same I understand that the plot required a sad ending given everything that happened but you are right- what was the point ? Did good really prevail over evil?that has been my problem all along

Yes her love for him was very obvious even though she did not say it out loud. That was some great acting on her part. I am sure this show took a lot out of both of them

No drama of this genre compares to this one- I was totally blown away by this one- it was so complex and beautifully done and it had such a gothic feel to it. Ancient Love Poetry is good you may want to try that one if you have not watched it

Yes their final god and goddess scene was mesmerizing for sure! and extremely emotional

People are unhappy about this kind of incomplete ending only because the show was so good and they expected more. Yes they went to a different level and that is what made it so good but they could have given us a better executed ending or stuck to the way it was in the novel- which would have made more sense

Yeah after executing the earlier episodes so well- they botched up the episodes in the end. I loved the drama but the ending was unsatisfactory and incomplete, its execution was poor and felt rushed- they could have spared us one more episode and given us the novel ending - that would have made more sense

Yes that novel ending is definitely better and more worth it. What they gave us was a half baked ending - not sad, not happy, not bittersweet. Especially after putting in so much effort
