ep 34 was just amazing . And Arthur Chen’s acting was stellar. They were both good in that reunion scene but he really poured out his heart. The role reversal is absolute here. In pretty much all dramas, it is always the FL who is portraying this kind of longing and sheer joy and so many emotions during these reunion scenes . But it is the ML in this drama. That is the beauty of it . And the Liu Yuning song! He really looked dashing in that outfit! He definitely is becoming one of my favorite actors ! This drama has surpassed all the dramas I have watched so far in 2026. And will remain one of my favorites- will go on my rewatch list !
Looks like we are going to see a lot of deaths in the mortal realm in the next few episodes. And yeah some miracle needs to happen in ep 38 to turn things around according to the previews
Another observation I made is the the Void itself is becoming unstable right now. Will it remain as a place where spirits can ‘live’ without Simu’s care . The Void maybe completely destroyed by the end of this drama

Honestly , at this point, you need to leave the novel alone and enjoy it for what it is. This is not helping anyone. I am not familiar with the novel but the drama has been done well. I don’t have complaints with it .
I'm kinda disappointed that it will be a very long time before we get to watch his next drama as he didn't choose…
Well he had 3 dramas in a span of 6-8 months. He will probably take his time to decide what he wants to do next. Which is completely understandable. You don’t want to see one actor just churning dramas. They need a break and we need one too
