Yan Ke confessing in ep 24 🤮🤮. She knows very well what he is and what he is up to . She is probably keeping him around because he has a lot of backing and support. She is also trying to keep the peace. It was interesting how he tried to frame Jiang Ai for Bai Shan Xing !

Ep 8 is the turning point of this drama.

In her case she does yearn for them. Her obsession is to live as a mortal and experience all of it. That is the crux of the story .

Episode 23 was so sad. I really felt bad for He Simu when she talked about the 22 lovers, her never ending life and the finality of the mortal life . But it looks like there is going to be lots of action in both their separate lives in their realms. Things just picked up as they separated. Duan Xu actually made a map of the Void for her . That was so thoughtful. I really loved how Jiang Ai told Yan Ke that he truly did not understand He Simu even though it was 300 yrs😂 while the ML did in a short period of time!

But my favorite drama of his is Lighter and Princess. The character he played in that drama was so complex. And the story was fantastic - have not found any other drama like that . It’s one of a kind
