I disagree with this. I think the relationship ended the way it should. He was not submissive to her - he did not have the power to do anything in the void . They were all scary and had more power than him. The FL from the beginning has been portrayed as cold with no feelings. She made a choice not to be with him. Regardless this relationship is a stalemate . They will have to figure it out. She hasnt even figured out yet if it was a fleeting fancy or a real love . Labeling it as something it is not too soon is not good .

What He Simu did to Duan Xu in episode 22 was cruel but it was necessary .. I actually am glad that Duan Xu will go back because the Void is getting chaotic .and I guess both of them have to face the reality of the situation . I want to see how they will resolve this stalemate.

Oh yikes ! Yan Ke had gone full cuckoo! It’s good for ML to head back. Ther is too much darkness in all these spirits .

Both their acting was excellent in the beginning of ep 21. Amazing- both wiring the illusion and when he wakes up! For the first time he saw her true care for him- that was important for him to see . Episode 21 was a heart wrenching episode .
