But 9 episodes in and it still does not get better and remains an awful disappointment. All your ideas sounded lovely. I would have loved to watch a storyline like that!

No, the way they use AI here is different. This is not AI being used as part of the series. Rather it is the main lead and family members looking up things using AI off screen - like characters in the series using ChatGPT similar to google search.

I m enjoying this series. There is something about the flow that could be improved. Or perhaps expand on the story a little. But maybe this format works well for keeping it concise. Overall, it is keeping me riveted. Just hope the unc and his cronies get to face their comeuppance and our lovely leads get their HEA.

Enjoyed the second episode a lot. I felt so sorry for Wan that I almost wanted to fast forward the training bits 😅 One tiny thing though… I wish the messages at the end of the episode were readable. They were tooooo quick that I couldn’t catch ‘em all even with repeated rewinds. I think it would be nice to be able to properly read what the ‘public’ opinion in the series is, right?

They both portray that loneliness very well. I can see how different they both are. Yet they also make us feel that deep loneliness in both.

Cheewa is such a memorable character that I doubt I’ll forget anytime soon. His unique, direct, nerdy way of flirting 🫰🏼🤌🏼

Just a little thing about this drama that bothers me: why are these people so unprofessional? kissing in a police station, flirting right next to a corpse being examined, interrupting corpse examination to pull the person out to talk about liking them/their love life…. there is a right place for stuff, you know? Right next to a corpse being examined is NOT one of them!

Exactly! This has the potential to be an amazing series. But somehow it falls short of the potential so much. Almost like the story got stuck in the 2019-2020 years of BL and didn’t realize that the industry has changed a lot now till now in 2026…

Novel readers, could you please spoil the ending for me -is this a HE or BE? I want to watch this drama, but won’t start it unless it has a happy ending. Since this drama airs on Youku, I am highly skeptic about the ending. Don’t want to be traumatised…

That was great acting by both the leads. Watanabe Shu’s facial expressions that showed Takoi’s gradual anguish all the way to tears was amazing acting! And Saito Ryu portrayed Shiono’s quiet but deep pain quite well. And can I say how much I love the very perceptive and supportive female colleague 🥰 Best supporting (and supportive) actress of this year 👌🏽🫶🏼

Pun is such a sweet character so far. 🫠
