I am not only interested in NC scenes, I find the pacing slow.

I hear you. Don’t get me wrong. I love this pair of actors, I just have high expectations and I’ve been finding it slow. Love in the Air is my top 10 BL because of Boss and Noeul.

A SLOW start to this series. It’s hard not to compare Love in the Air or Love Sea which had a hotter start for the main couple. I am hoping it will improve, but it’s never good when I find my self watching at 2.5 speed. I can’t remember when the lat time that was for a MAME project.

The main couple is definitely lovely to look at. It’s so far a story that is not really going anywhere. I find this is the type of series you are just fine with watching. I will give it three stars for the massage scene in episode 1. Onward!

Hands down the best BL of 2024 (even though it finished in early 2025). The love and longing these two characters had for one another was so well scripted and performed. The injustice you feel that they can’t share their love with others. To be accepted for who they are. There is a concept of “bearing witness” in religions like Buddhism. Witnesses give meaning to one’s life because of the witnesses’ willingness to become intimate with another's experience. These two lovers are missing the witnessing of their love through marriage. It’s truly heartbreaking.

You are absolutely correct. Neglect is a central theme of this series. It doesn’t matter if you come from wealth or poverty, the impact is the same. It’s what bonds Hirukawa and Minsase together.

He is deeply broken from abuse and neglect. His reality is skewed. He looks at everything from a fractured perspective. He longs for love & normalcy but lives on the edge of a knife. I do not fault his character.

This series is unrelenting. Heartbreaking. Mesmerizing. I’ve never seen such deep commitment between two characters. Goddess give them a good ending.

Agreed, it was like he was looking at the life he could have though a window. Out of reach and heartbreaking.

Episode 6 is a heartbreaker. It lifts you up with Minase and Hirukawa consummating their relationship only to see it falling apart by the end of the episode. The story arc conflict is right in the middle, so here’s hoping it will be resolved. I am not certain I can take any more scenes of Hirukawa getting beaten up by his so-called father. Domestic violence is hard to watch.

You have to give it to this series. It definitely wasn’t formulaic. I loved the main couple and it was interesting to see how they would change each episode. 姻緣紅線, the red thread of love or fate, connecting their souls, never wavered. Sun and Dol were destined to be lovers regardless of whatever circumstance they were in.

One of my favourite things to do is match up BL actors because personally I find it gets pretty stale seeing the same actors together. Although I enjoyed Top and Mick who had mega chemistry, I am happy to know they will have a variety of work experiences. The pair I would love to see….is First and Boun …
