I think the problem with this is that people want there to be a clear bad guy and good guy but at the end of the…
Correct. People are flawed. I think there is a lot of self survival going on and guilt and shame and a whole mess of emotions which is why I love it. It is real.
a lot of people have mixed opinions but im gonna try this
. I think it’s the first series which captures the awkwardness of first love accurately and the added challenges of it being same sex. It’s beautiful, frustrating, and entertaining all at once. I get that it ticks people off but I like it.
I really feel for Ju Yeong. No matter what Do Hoe throws at him, he is steadfast. It’s hard to watch him constantly get hurt so I remind myself that Do Hoe is messed up for a reason. He lies, runs away, and says nasty things because he is traumatized. He never got past his abuse and feels unworthy of love. In those brief moments when he lets his guard down for Ju Yeong, it’s beautiful. He opens up like a lotus 🪷 Kim Nu Rim really does an excellent job of making me love and hate this character.
so im basically in search of good Korean bl........so far I have watched "love for loves sake"(its soo good),…
Korean BLs have come a long way over the last few years when the main couple barely hugged each other. The better ones are Breeze of Love, Blueming, Love for Love’s Sake, and Semantic Error.
I needed a good stiff drink after episode 4. The amount of crying was incredible. It actually made me re-watch episodes 1-3 just to shake it off. This series is going to be a gut puncher.
I have yet to watch this. Does it have an unresolved unhappy ending? I am not sure i have it in me to start another series where there is no hope for the main couple. You can please mark your response as spoiler. Thank you 🙏🏻
I absolutely love ❤️ this series so far. The main character is so heartbreaking, he longs for love and affection in a house of violence. In walks this goofy, smiling, affectionate and loveable Taekwondo boarder who opens him up like a lotus 🪷 flower to love. I enjoy how accurately their romantic scene is portrayed awkward, eager, anxious - everything it should have been. Bravo 👏
Hot damn 🔥 I love this series. Although I kept waiting in episode 3 for the proverbial shoe to drop. It was an angst ridden episode, but I loved it. I am enjoying the format of time unraveling and the characters being inter connected. It has a real 70s vibe and you are not sure what the hell era your watching.
entertaining all at once. I get that it ticks people off but I like it.
