Don’t get me started, Oh My Sunshine At Night, 609 Bedtime Story (Poor Ohm Fluke can’t catch a break), I really found Between us underwhelming, Fahlanruk (I nearly died watching that one) Individual Circumstances which is like watching paint dry. I hate the male lead so much. The list goes on…

I agree…the series really grew on me.

To each their POV. I think this is how the character is. I will expect over time Hira might mellow…a bit, but he his love for Kiyoi is so absolute it’s blinding. It does always make me wonder what would happen if Kiyoi disappeared which is why I loved the ending of episode 1 where Kiyoi said to Hira “don’t go anywhere”.

No word of a lie, I had the same reaction as Hira when Kiyoi said “We’re going to do it tonight”.

You need to watch series 1 to understand series 2. I get why you might think this, but it becomes very apparent why these two characters are very perfectly matched. Kiyoi comes from abandonment and neglect as a child which is why he wants to be adored as an actor/idol. Hira’s overwhelming love is what actually completes him.

I agree, they are completely whole as a couple, each full-filling something in the other. They are endearing to watch.

I love this series. Each character needs each other in some way that is fulfilling. Series one it seemed mainly one sided, after all the series is called My Beautiful Man. but you realize how much Kioyi needs Hira’s love and unwavering commitment. I laugh at how Kioyi lashes out when he Hira hits the mark of pointing out his needing him. This couple is ahhhhhh

You have a fine attention to detail. It’s the little things that add up which make a series hard to watch (Boun’s constant-changing hair color in Between Us!)
