Well, that was pretty obvious even in the first watch. ^^'

I don't think Ming is fully narcissistic. If it was the case it wouldn't be under the grasp of Tong in the first place. And narcissistic people are fully aware of what they are doing to their partners but Ming didn't give me that vibe. He is a mess and need therapy I would say because he does have narcissistic tendency for sure.

I really wished that 1st episode didn't exist. I hate it when drama give huge spoiler in the first episode especially here when it only appear 23 episodes later! More than half. During those, knowing that all of that will go to the drain, kind of ruined the enjoyment for me... I'm still at episode 16 but it as become a chore...

There is "Red Flag" and RED FLAG. Having a possessive, a domineering or controlling partner is a red flag. Some can deal with that and even enjoy it (no judgement here). Having a partner that sequestrate & torture you to the point of almost dying (Vegas) isn't just being a red flag, it's being a freaking psychotic & criminal. Same with Ming, being knocked out & sequestrated isn't in the realm of being a Red Flag anymore. Just saying. :P

Vegas and Pete weren't in a BDSM relationship. Maybe one was sadistic and the other masochist but it still need consent to have a relationship. Pete didn't give that. He was sequestered & tortured and probably developed Stockholm syndrome. Don't remember exactly if he was also violated but at this point, it was already below any standard.

Ming is also mess up for sure. Possessive, controlling & yes, he is a bit of a narcissist. With the first four episodes, he wasn't in love with Joe. After Joe die, I don't know why people said he "figured out" that he love him. For me, it's just obsession because he have been denied his desire. Surely, it will change. I hope at least, I do want a satisfying ending.

If I needed to choose my poison, I will said Ming is "better" but to be honest, both of them belong to the trash bin. ^^'

After watching Ming becoming psychotic I need some C-Drama wholesome relationship... I need to be cleans with green forest characters. xD

Gods... Ming, I had hope! ^^' Even if they will probably finish together in the end I really do hope he got some karma back at some point, right ? Right ?

Probably their first encounter. I think it was meant to show that they loved each other at first sight even if they weren't aware of that fact themselves. Typical K-Drama style.

Not bad. I will probably forget about it pretty soon. The vibe was quite unique. It didn't really work for me but it was still enjoyable. The first couple was rather odd. Both of them have some weird personalities. The second couple was more generic with a generic issue but oddly enough I enjoyed them more. Their ending isn't a happy ever after but it's a hopeful one so I'm still satisfied.

And yeah... I wasn't a fan of the 1st couple haircuts. It seems really superficial and I'm myself ashamed of feeling this way but... I think it really did impact negatively my overall enjoyment of this show.

Yeah I also saw that. Being a Part 1 and with such ending, a Part 2 is probably intended. Now the question is if they truly will make it and when. But I wouldn't hold my breath to be honest, I lost the hype with the final episode.

It's based on a finished web novel "The Best of Tomorrow" (that also had a webtoon adaptation).

It still doesn't lose momentum. Always funny, cute & lovely with just a bit of thriller to keep us on edge. I think it will be my no. 1 favorite for 2024 even if it's still quite early. :O

I get it. On a personal level, you wouldn't want that for yourself. It's completely fair and no one can judge people for that statement. It just irk me a bit when someone have that statement on someone else relationship. A relative on mine had a heart condition when he was born and we all knew that he will probably die young. And he did (35). He still had the most beautiful fairy tale love story with two beautiful children. His wife is now remarried & happy and nothing is wrong with that as we still have contact with them.

It just some base time travel logic here and nothing to do with past lives (no one died in between). Young Songjam was in a completely different world at first and their time was in sync when they met with the mirror shenanigan. Then Songjam traveled to Aksorn's world but their time desync at that moment. Time flow and they meet again when the gap is filled. It's why we can have two Songjam at the same time with the one in the mirror as a 16-18 year old and one in Aksorn's world (Kyo) as a 40+ year old.

A bit sad that some peoples seem to be more attached to the actors rather than the characters themselves. Both three actors made a fantastic job to translate such a unique stories. We saw spark with young Songjam but I also saw the same thing with old Songjam.

He literally shoot love beam everytime he met with Aksorn when he was Kyo and they both did when he revealed he was Songjam. We also see that Aksorn wasn't that indifferent with Kyo even if his current story with Songjam was stronger, making Kyo under the 2ML curse (liked but not enough to beat the ML's aura). But then, they revealed that ML & 2ML was actually the same person ? I was really happy about that plot twist. :)

I never understood this PoV. If you like someone despite the age gap, why does it matter ? Accident happen. Sickness is also a thing. Even the love can fade with time. Why worry about things that could never happen in the first place ? :o

I'm not saying that you should agree with that on a personal level but judging others relationship is wrong. The fact that the guy traversed dimension THEN waited 20+ years to met with his loved one, I don't know how you can't view it as a fairy tale ending when both are so happy about it.

I don't think he witnessed his growth. Yes he literally give birth to him but Aksorn met him for the first time at the cafe so he wasn't around. Probably because of the butterfly effect.

Why ? Just why ? I could understand him wanting to be out of this mess that this girl could bring. It's totally fair and realistically speaking, the smartest decision to make. But what not even warn the person you are supposed to be in love that his friend is just a psychotic B-word ?

And why blaming the poor dude because he have a good background ? It wouldn't protect him one bit if he is ostracized from work (what the MC is worried about for himself) and even his well off family for all he knows.

It made the character unrelatable for me and the ending really underwhelming.
