I watched this movie on a whim because of Sasaki Kuranosuke, and I have to say that this whim was well rewarded! The entirety of this film was an amazing feat to watch!

The amount of work that must have gone into this film, research, practice, and genuine talent for the culture, history, and creation of each artifact of the "true antique" must have been ridiculously intense. Watching Sasaki Kuranosuke make the bowl was one of my favorite parts in the entire film! The amount of devotion and immense strength and respect he put into creating such a fabulous bowl shows very well it's almost tangible. It makes the viewer(s) wonder how long he knew how or how long he was taught about the creative process. It was also interesting to watch Nakai Kiichi work with his customer(s); his buying and selling process of each item was very thorough and well instrumented with just the right amount of detail for each historical piece.

I think I would have liked to have seen a little more of the characters' relationships; not long backstories, per se, but something along those lines. This film gave a very witty, comical, honest look into the creation of the genuine artifact and its copy. Almost teaching the viewer(s) something about history, culture, and antiques while doing so; and maybe a little more historical/cultural information would have been nice, too, but I did like Tsukaji Muga as the historical/museum official and what information he gave was very telling to the story and creation of the antique in question.

This film feels like such an underrated gem to me, and because of the cast and it's unique story that made me laugh and cringe and worry and proud all at once, I really believe that more people should see this movie! And it's sequel!

Has anyone noticed how fast Kagawa Teruyuki can speak?! In my review for season one of this series I said that I wanted to watch this story because of Hidetoshi Nishijima, however, the more I continued to watch this series the more I seemed to fall in love with Kagawa Teruyuki, Maki Yoko, Kohinata Fumiyo, Hasegawa Hiroki, Aoi Yu, Ikematsu Sosuke, Ito Atsushi, and Hirayama Yusuke!

The cast of this series was so perfectly brought together that the story seemed so insanely real and tangibly scary! I'm glad I have some new (and old) actors and actresses to follow, though it will be hard to follow this amazing story.

To be honest, and I think I've said this in my review of this series' first season, the genre type of this show isn't really something I normally watch; since I'm a huge chicken! Although, this story isn't as scary as it appears... At first, that is. This entire series is full of spooky and creepy feelings, not to mention the most mysteries and suspenseful twists and turns I have ever seen or read.

The story itself is very unique, something that is genuinely real and honest, and shows every bit of deep hidden darkness within humanity and everyone (no matter their lifestyle or career or 'status') within reality alike.

I won't say this is a hidden gem because I believe a lot of people love this series, as well as the special and movie, but I will say that I hope many more people try to enjoy this series for a long time! This story is superb and nothing like you've seen before, the synopsis and trailers do not give season 1 or season 2 any justice, so I really hope more people will take the time to enjoy "Mozu" series!!

I have to say I was surprised at the difference between each season of this series, however, as you watch this series (season 1, the special, season 2, and of course season 3) in order you can pick up pieces from each that create a very intriguing chronological story!

To be honest, it's as if the viewer is following the lives of multiple detectives throughout their work and (sometimes) personal lives. Each person's back story is pretty vague, but that only seems to serve to help the characters and the story. Without so many filler episodes or different side stories, I believe that the writer(s), director(s), crew, staff, and cast have created a show completely unique yet genuinely honest to the world of detectives/police, crime, humanity, and the bittersweet truths of reality.

I hope a lot more people will give this show and the entire series a chance! Not one moment of this series is wasted and each piece of each episode from season 1 episode one to season 3 episode ten continues to build a concrete platform where a solid, superb show stands!

Season two of Kounodori is just as warm-hearted, full of joy, bittersweet, and completely perfect in every way!

Each story is so different and unique that you can feel all of the hard work, love, and respect that each actor and actress (main, support, guest, or even baby) had while creating each special story that leads to such an unprecedented ending!

I fell in love with Kounodori's story immediately from season 1's first episode, it was hard to watch the last episode of season 2 because I knew it would really be over, but binge-watching them straight through season 1 episode 1 until season 2 episode 11 made it very easy to see how the stories od each specific doctor, nurse, technician, social worker, parent(s), friends, family, and society dealt and raised and loved each person; and of course each baby!

To watch a few of the characters grow throughout both series was very special to see, too! The difference in each person was so amazing, but the paths they all chose will equally be hard to walk since the medical field alone (plus the specialized fields) is difficult to maneuver and understand.

I really hope more people come to enjoy the family at Persona! This story is a perfect story of life, love, friendships and families, hard life and "ideal life", not to mention the surprise twists and turns! Definitely keep a few tissues on hand, too!

How and why it took me this long to watch this series I will never know!!

Each moment of this show is filled with so many different stories of precious moments that may seem to focus only on what's going on within the hospital but if you pay attention you can and will catch every single second of a wonderful series that tells the story of each unique birth.

The actors, actresses, guests, and of course, the babies have all done a spectacular job to bring the realities, love and fear, hopes for the future, as well as tears and laughter to the screen. It's almost tangible and as if the viewers are watching a reality camera show within a hospital. Though that wouldn't be possible considering all the risks.

I don't think this is an underrated show, I've always seen a lot of people comment or review their love for this story. Though, I do wish more people would watch and fall in love with this series! Each story is so real, and sometimes scary, that the only thing I regret while watching is not having enough tissues!

This drama is something that speaks to every single person. The story and the characters showed how real, heartbreaking, honest, genuine, bittersweet, difficult, raw, and different life can and will be for each and every individual.

The story itself is very unique and each back story for each letter and the focus on the Sawano family and Okae-chan was a little unbalanced at times, but this show was so beautifully shot which allowed each moment to be captured successfully without leaving anything or anyone behind. And each emotion within this five-episode show captures each illness in a very significant and poignant way, showing a face to each person with a real illness, or the family and friends or the professional doctors or other patients the illness affects..

There is a wonderful life lesson in this show and each moment in this story was something real I believe we all can relate to.

This is a very charming, very sweet story! I wanted to watch this mostly because of Odagiri Joe, who does not disappoint in this show in the least (his personality and genuine pride in his work definitely show!), but the more I watched the more I was drawn in by the story of each cheer-dance team member and the town around them.

This story really shows off the definition of hard work and dreams, not to mention high school and friendship. This show is really amazing; each member was very strong, talented, and beautiful to watch throughout each episode. I wouldn't call it a slice-of-life drama specifically, but it does fit within that category; to me, this show was more of a "coming of age" story. This story is basically the story of life; hard work, friendships, families, hopes and dreams, loves and heartbreaks, strength and determination... You know, life!

I do believe that this show is a very underrated gem and a definite jumping-off point for anyone's new love of Odagiri Joe, or his current fans, too; I really believe that he really filled out this story and made it (at least) half of what it is.

This is one of the best dramas I've seen in a while! It includes pretty much every genre: family, slice-of-life, romance, drama, mystery, humor; not to mention the script is one in a million!

I've never seen a story quite so unique, honest, and thrilling to watch like this series was. In fact, though this is just my personal opinion, it possibly could have had more than 10 episodes with maybe a little more (main) character backstory, however, I think that because it did not delve so deep is what really made the stories of each episode so full of life.

There was a lot of laughter in this series, but the feelings of sadness, worry, anxiety, anger, panic, and love come across the screen well from every single actor and actress involved in this series; babies included! This is definitely not a show to be missed.

One of the most entertaining, nonsensical, intriguing, hilarious, unique, mysterious, dramatical dramas I have ever seen! The cast is amazing with each and every story, joke, and witty-one-liners and comebacks. I always laughed with each episode and I loved watching the way Kiriyama and Mikazuki worked together to solve each baffling case! I cannot wait for the third season to come out later this year in December (of 2019). After watching Odagiri Joe in several serious type dramas, it was nice to see his funny side! Also, Kumiko Aso was amazing in "Yowakutemo Katemasu" but at first I barely recognized her in this series, however after realizing it was her, I thought she and Odagiri Joe made an amazing detective pair (in and out of the office) for Kiriyama-kun's odd hobby. Each episode's case was something I could never figure out, from beginning to end, and at times it felt like I was watching a stage play of hilarious, strange antics between the cast members but let me tell you... That only made the show more mesmerizing and intriguing and amazing to watch!!

This show was a random choice for me. I'm not much into sports anime(s), let alone live-action sports dramas. I just can't seem to focus my attention on them. However, this show seemed to have some "magical" draw to it that I can't really put my finger on.

Whether it was the actors, the story, or the drama that played out I couldn't tell you specifically. I have to be honest, though... I did want to stop watching after the first episode. Yet somewhere this show hooked me from episode 1, too. I can't say it was the story that got my attention; because it was definitely the actors. Each one held my attention so strongly with their spirited attitudes, cheeky personalities, and their fierce passion. I definitely laughed a lot thanks to the men in this show!

However, as I continued watching, I felt more like I was dropped into the middle of a 10 episode show instead of just an 8 episode show. I feel like the actors carried this show very well, the story was definitely not your typical "sports dramatics" either, and I definitely believe this show has a strong spirit of its own. It could have absolutely gone for a couple of more episodes. It is hard to get people into swimming shows/movies/animes of any kind, I think; maybe because swimming is so fun or maybe because just watching swimming is boring... Who knows?

This is a good show to watch if you're in a rut or just starting out with Japanese dramas. This show is very captivating and very well made until the end.

This was a wonderfully sweet story that had me laughing out loud with every episode! It was relatable and very genuine, but also a one of a kind story with a fantastic cast that literally had me holding my breath until the very last second of the very last episode. How it ended was really wonderful, but it ended way too soon! I know there is a 2016 version, but I haven't found that anywhere to watch yet, but I think this series could definitely do well with a few more episodes or even a special! This is definitely a show that will have you "catching all the feels"... but I absolutely recommend this fantastic series!

This drama is way underrated! I wish the ending never came it was such an amazing show and wonderful story! The cast was perfect, it was really nice seeing a new side to a few actors/actresses I already knew. While the show does have a heavy focus on romance, it isn't too much that it would fall in the "romance genre" specifically; though it does fall in the romance genre, it's very well balanced by comedy and slice-of-life and suspense! Not to menton the amazing and extremely accurate information about Marine life that is not boring, easy to understand, and shown with great talent through the entire series!

I wish they expanded more on the series, making it 10 episodes or having a special would have been nice! Kiritani Kenta was one of the main reasons I watched this series, however it was surprising at how well everyone came together to teach and support each other. This is a good drama for a watching slump when you don't know what to watch, or for someone starting out in Japanese dramas. Definitely give this show a chance!

Let me start by saying I originally started this series because of Kubota Masataka, however, the rest of the cast wonderfully betrayed my first expectations!

I don't recall seeing such a wonderful cast of diverse talents working together so well. Everyone fit together within their scenes it felt like I was watching a documentary or reality television stories of forensic pathology instead of a scripted television drama. From the emotions, characters, plotline(s), forensic/medical terminology... Not one point was lost or disappeared within the fast pace of the show. I do feel like they could have stretched it out, maybe 15 episodes or even a season two instead of completely ending the show.

It was really nice to discover new actors to follow and to see some familiar actors in roles I'm not used to seeing them play; this show was quite the adventure! I binged this series all in one day (it's currently 2:00am where i am lol)

The twists and turns within this show are amazingly portrayed. Each time I thought I had something pegged or knew some medical information, I was completely blown off my feet and learned something new. I sympathized a lot with a few of the stories and characters, too. The cast and director and writer(s) made this show perfectly human.

I would absolutely recommend this show to anyone who is a fan of thrillers, suspense, detective, comedy, slice-of-life, medical dramas. Of course, people like me who aren't so good with scary things could like this show too! It isn't as scary as I thought it would be at first; quite the opposite... I really learned a lot, and I absolutely fell in love with this show!

This is one of the most nonsensical dramas I have ever seen. I laughed and worried and fell for each slapstick joke regular in "Japanese culture". Did that last bit make sense?

(If not, I meant: "Something that the Japanese humor finds funny that we in other countries don't necessarily." Does that make sense?)

Anyways... through each episode, I could never figure out who the criminal was ahead of time, the wit and jokes are pitch perfect for each cast member; not to mention the chemistry between each cast member was superb! There are a few twists and turns in this series and some are hilarious, while some are ridiculous, and some you'll never see coming! I've never liked a show this much, this quickly before.

I think this show had a wonderful cast, very interesting music, and a great story! If you aren't looking for something typical to the police/detective/crime/mystery drama then this may not be for you. However, if you are looking for some comedy with an actual storyline that is unique and completely original, then I absolutely recommend this show!

The show is completely changed around, turned upside down, shaken up, and turned right again. There are some big changes, but not many. The cast set-up is the same, the hierarchy within the cast is also the same. How the story is played is completely different than the first season, and that isn't necessarily a bad thing! The opening and ending got a little monotonous, but not too bad; it fit the episodes and the meaning of the show in its entirety.

I wish it was a little bit closer to the first season, but I like that it's taken it's own route to be different and yet the same. Absolutely a fantastic second season!
