Okay I am one of those who preferred season 1 over season 2. However I am thankful for this season since it introduced me to the mind blowing Lee Jun Young ! Omg he’s so fineeeeuhhh
Coming back to the drama, I didn’t hate it, I actually did watch it back to back as it managed to hold my interest from start to finish. I am even looking forward to S3. It’s just that it lacked the emotional connection I felt with S1 . There I was deeply into every character and I felt very strongly for whatever the leads were going through. It was just so good, so thrilling, so touching and so powerful in every aspect.
P. S: The OST Hero is so good I listen to it on repeat.

Same. I lost interest after about 6-7 episodes. I was so excited to watch this for SKJ’s return but the drama just lost steam somewhere in the middle.

Please announce a new drama, ugh! I couldn’t finish WTSG, it’s a bummer but I am still stuck at King the eternal monarch. One of the greatest shows of all times and my favourite from him! Thinking of rewatching it for the third time. Please pretty please sign a new one soon.

I just finished watching WHC2 but he doesn’t appear so muscular in that, so even I was wondering if he is really so muscular in real life.

Surprised at such a low rating for a highly entertaining drama like this.
I have loved it so far. Episode 2 is so damn funny, I was laughing hard the whole time. FL with her muscle pain was so freaking relatable lmao!

Finally! This guy is so underrated omg! I totally fell for him hook line and sinker after watching Are You Human too?
He’s extremely gorgeous and mad talented. He’ll go places. You’ll see!

Can’t wait! But really bummed it’s not available anywhere that I can watch. Sucks! :(

I would really love to watch his older shows like city hunter and faith but I don’t know where to. They’re not easily accessible.

Lol. Which other dramas of his have you watched? I highly recommend King eternal monarch and Legend of the blue sea if you haven’t already. These two in my opinion best represent why he’s so popular or ‘hyped’ . He acts really well and looks absolutely stunning in both of them. I can’t get enough of him on King…

I am enjoying this drama. It’s definitely not as bad as the comments here are making it out to be. The setting and the concept is different and you can feel it’s an expensive production. The sets are very real looking and believable to me.
There is a drawback yes and I feel it’s that the leads don’t have the chemistry required for a romance genre. Like I find it unconvincing why ML suddenly started liking FL. There wasn’t much build up.
But, acting wise I don’t get the hate for LMH. He’s great. I have always appreciated his acting in all his dramas and he’s doing well here too.
I will keep watching, rating wise I would give it a 8 so far.

Every thing about this drama is perfection. And you don’t know what a dream couple is and what real chemistry is until you watch the leads here. So dreamy and perfect ❤️

She deserves more lead roles please!! Also romantic lead roles.
She was paired with JCW in worst of evil still the storyline gave no scope of showcasing their love, there’s hardly any romance. So disappointing.

Acting is top notch in my opinion and it is a very well made drama with repeat value.

I too adore this drama. Not a boring moment in the entire 16 episodes. I have watched it twice already and I have loved it equally both times. The leads have done a great job in my opinion. A very well made show.

I am especially attached to this show as this was my official gateway to K drama world. Absolutely loved this show. The chemistry between the leads is so great that I was quite stuck for sometime and did not wish to see their other dramas as I didn't want to see them both with other leads, haha. I watched this show twice and that's extremely rare for me. LMH is everything a woman can dream of in this drama. He and only he can convince me that he is someone as regal, manly and charming as a real King! He looked absolutely smashing in every damn frame. Kim Go Eun is such an amazing actress. I am blown away by how effortlessly stunning she is in every frame. She played kind of a tomboy in this show but looked breathtakingly beautiful in some of the scenes. Her pining away for her King was so beautifully portrayed. I really believed in their love and find it surprising that some didn't find their love story convincing. For me it was a well developed arc of the story and flowed organically like a beautiful river.

ROFL. 100% agree with you. This is one of my most FAV dramas of all times . All the reasons you mentioned, exactly why I love it. JCW is so hot I cannot. The romance is out of the world cute. Just too adorable and heart melting. How I wish this lead pair had more dramas together :,(

I could not get over this drama so I immediately rewatched it the second time LOL! This has never happened before to me. What a heart warming, absolutely amazing drama. So well made, well written, genuine heart felt performances by everyone, great story telling. A gem of a show. I fell in love with the leads and I sincerely hope they make a season 2 of it though I know in my heart that chances of that happening are nearly zero, lol.

I am watching it currently and absolutely loving it. One of my favorite K dramas so far!
