An average start. We shall see.But BL Pet Peeve... who sets their alarm so they will be late? This happens all…
Ah yes, the drama alarm syndrome. It doesn't only happen in BLs, it happens basically in all romance asian drama. Something gotta set up the plot...how are the two main leads going to meet in such dramatic setting if not for the alarm guy who works really hard to make them BE LATE!!!
exactlyyyyyyy. what is so appealing about "i saw you from afar and got obsessed and started scheming ridiculous…
Thanks, someone finally gets it! You said it perfectly, it definitely would feel more organic and natural. That's what i thought it would be like when i read the synopsis before watching the first episode. I thought that the broom and the bride were forced into a marriage by their parents or something and that Sailom and Nuea would meet each other in that way and slowly fall in love with each other. Not this :(
Am i the only one who is starting to hate this plotline? It's becoming cliche and incredibly annoying. It is a very questionable plot idea and it's not even good or new. Idk, i'm just not a big fan of hidden agendas and "pretending that i don't like you and that i don't know you (even tho i know every little detail about your life like a stalker) and lying about my true intentions in order to get closer to you and manipulating you into thinking that you've fallen in love with me first so it's easier for me to tease and make fun of you and make you look ridiculous and like a loser so it's easier for me" plots which are trending in Thai Bls right now. We've literally seen this same plot in 2gether, Love in the air, Enchante, Boss and a Babe, My school president, Hidden agenda which is currently airing and many more less popular bls. The only BL drama which did this plot right was My school president, in which they managed to make this plot into a genuinely sweet high-school drama with little to no red flags and somehow don't make this into a toxic, questionable and incredibly annoying plotline, like in all other drama from this list. Let's be real, this only passes bcs it's a drama. If this was real life, it would be considered as a literal manipulation and i think that no sane person would actually stay with someone who does all of this. Just imagine if you were that person and found out that someone who you like/love is capable of lying so nonchalantly everytime they open their mouth. Just imagine how hurtful it would be.
Otherwise, I really like the actors, the acting and the characters. I LOVE Nuea's personality and I already can see that it will be the only thing that will keep me watching it. Both actors are doing a pretty good job even tho they seem quite young! I hope they will become well known in this indstry.
MAME production. Mm-uh.Camp acting and dialogue, questionable plot, in this case arranged marriage and approved…
I don't think this counts as "approved cheating" because they are not even dating for real in the first place (which is very obvious thru the whole episode). Otherwise i agree that this is a questionable plot, since i'm not a fan of hidden agendas, secret crushes and "pretending that i don't like you and and lying about my intentions in order to get closer to you and manipulating you into thinking that you've fallen in love with me first so it's easier for me" plots which are trending in Thai Bls right now. Really, it has become a cliche and it's not even a good plot idea. Some of you are so dumb that it’s unbelievable! You guys know the Chinese government stand on Bl and Gl and…
I heard somewhere that Stay with me is not even showing in China and that the production is working together with a Thai and a Korean production so we might even get some more intimate scenes...Idk if this is 100% true but let's wait and see.
We'll soon understand Joke's arguments about that hidden agenda about relationships. We still don't know how Joke…
It's true that Wave gave them this topic to make it harder for Joke bcs it's very hard to agree on hidden agenda, but considering that Joke IS actually moving with a hidden agenda/ulterior motive towards Zo, and he sad he was speaking from heart and being honest, his arguments should have been much stronger. I'm just saying this because I have a lot of experience debating since i used to do it a lot in high school. If this was real life, he would have absolutely lost, but since it's a drama, it can pass. If it was me who had to agree on hidden agenda in this debate, I already know what i would say and what arguments i would use that would definitely best Zo's arguments and i don't even really agree with it.
But overall, the debate scene was still more interesting than most other scenes from ep 1 and ep 2, so i give it a pass and i will continue to watch it.
Anyone else thinks that the debate in ep 2 was ridiculous? Like Joke's arguments were kind of stupid, underwhelming and had no presence. In reality he would have lost the debate big time. His arguments make more sense if they talked about a hidden agenda in some other context but they were talking about relationships. You need much stronger arguments than that. And the theme of the debate is a bit suspicious too. A hidden agenda and secrets with ulterior in relationships are objectively wrong by default. There's no need for a debate about why it's wrong or why it's right. (even tho the whole drama is about hidden agenda in relationships lmao)
In case Episode 10 weren’t enough to show what self-centered, self-absorbed person Tai is, they decide to up…
It always annoyed me how Tai made such a drama about his parents divorcing. He literally was an adult when they divorced so he should have understood then that people marry and divorce, get together and break up... it's all just a normal part of the life. And he made everything about himself, like his parents shouldn't divorce just because of him, their ADULT son. Also at his mom's wedding, he also made the wedding about himself and he literally wasn't even seeing his mom that much since his parents divorced. It was years after they divorced and he still holds a grunge about his mom, but not his dad. It's not like his mom left his dad, they both mutually agreed to divorce.
