A beautiful, heartbreaking story

The extended scenes during the credits really made me break down. I'm so glad I watched this. I've watched movies where they cut from the past to the present before, but I really liked this one because the past and present were so clear due to the black and white vs color. I loved how the past and present flipped their colors at the end of the movie. It was filmed so beautifully, the acting was magnificent, their chemistry was amazing and their feelings were so believable, and I am blown away. This is definitely a must-watch for people who have never seen it before, and though I don't usually watch movies over again, I'll likely re-watch this one.

Takes you back to the beauty of youth

Such a good story. Really made you feel like you were a part of that neighborhood. I felt so sad at the end, almost like my own youth was slipping away. So well-written, so funny, so gripping. Such a nice, light show to watch. The actors were amazing, you really felt like they were true friends who had grown up together. The only reason I gave it 8/10 stars overall was because she ended up with Taek. They were cute, but I was so disappointed she didn’t get with Jung-hwan I almost stopped the show at ep 16. I’m glad I finished it, but they really missed the mark with that one. They had so much chemistry, I feel like this show would’ve been so much more loved if they had went with that love story instead.

Stunning. Breathtaking. Eye-opening. A masterpiece.

This movie was absolutely breathtaking. In the most beautiful and horrific ways. It was real, and scary, and eye-opening, but it also found beauty in worst of times. The acting was absolutely incredible. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would I can't believe how raw the emotions were. Especially in the scene at the end, where they see each other again through the glass. Incredible. The filming was incredible. It was clear that each and every shot had been taken in the most meticulous way. I'm stunned, taken aback, in awe. A breathtaking piece. A masterpiece. The ending was beautiful . I can't express how much I loved this movie. I would 100% watch it again and I highly highly recommend it.

Incredible. So many unexpected plot twists, kept me guessing the entire time.

I've been wanting to watch this drama for years. I love both actors and have watched them in separate dramas and couldn't wait to see what they would be like together. This drama kept me guessing the entire time. So many plot twists, I can't count how many times I let out an audible gasp. Great chemistry between the actors, really interesting story line. Some parts of the drama were a little questionable, like her friend died and she was sad and then we never heard of that friend again. And her brother stabbed her boyfriend and she didn't seem all that upset about it. But it was more focused on her story and his story so I can let those things pass. The ending was absolutely tragic. I don't know that I've ever sobbed so hard watching any drama, besides Hwarang. It was heartbreaking, bittersweet. But absolutely beautiful. I couldn't sleep because I just kept thinking about it. The writers really knew what they were doing with this drama. I'm beyond impressed.
