Yes, i have expected more from the first pilot trailer back in 2024. It was much darker and seemed more serious. But in the end it's a typical gmmtv show with lots of fluff and romance paired with some brutal murders 😅 you can't expect a serious series. For example in the heartkillers there were also many scenes where you would say 'damn they've commited a murder but didn't bring gloves' 🤦🏻♀️ So you need to accept the focus on the romance and not on a serious investigation case.

Actually... i missed the romance in GBYFD.... i think both series have a different focus. I like the romance in DYTD but yes if you expected a crime series with a romance side plot you might be disappointed.
I agree that the writing and editing is really bad and the action scenes could have been better. But I won't say that Dunks acting is "shit". He might not be the best actor, but i think he does a good job portraying Kamins stiff and reserved character. Perhaps the acting feels off for you because you can't connect with the character? At first i had problems with Joongs acting here and i know that he is such a good actor! But for me Jade felt off and i had to adjust myself to Jades character because he wasn't like that what I've expected.
