Yeah i thought the same. On the one hand i was positively surprised to get such a long kissing scene in a CBL and I'm used to the blurring effect in BLs but this was really too much. It annoyed me at the end more than i would have enjoyed a shorter scene with less blurring

Actually i was wondering all the time who might be the top. At the end i was sure it must be nie chuan but then this scene happened 😅 imagine the situation: you know your old uncle is watching you, your crush lies beneath you, drugged and horny and you're supposed to top him but you're a virgin (or at least unexperienced in being a top) 😅🙈 so you blindfold him to make the whole scene even hotter 🥵 but then you ask him "please teach me" 🙈 i'm still not sure if i have to find thiss scene cute or hot or weird or creepy (because of the uncle watching them 😅🙈)

Yeah like i said, they are some smaller scenes which don't seem logic for me right now but that doesn't really matter so far. I'm really enjoying the show and i can ignore such scenes when the rest is captivating ☺️

For example why is he a mafia boss or at least some important mafia leader but in some scenes he can aim accurately and kill the assassins with one perfect head shot and one scene later he is like a helpless puppy who clings to nie chuan who has to save him serveral times?

And why do they light up a big fire in the ruins when they now that there are dangerous soldiers around?

And why appears suddenly a poor kid in this kind of ruins full of soldiers? Why was this kid not found by them?

I've started this BL without any expectations and I must say it is really good! The chemistry and acting are good and the story seems interesting even if there are some little scenes that doesn't make sense but this doesn't matter for me.
I love the atmosphere and the tension between the couple 🔥 their nonstop bickering reminds me of Sammy's children's day 😁 i'm curious what's the matter with the child and if it will be a running gag that they will always have a nearly kiss each episode and then be interrupted 🤭

I totally agree with you! I admit I was so disappointed after watching GMMTVs 2026 drama line up. It felt like a step backwards for JoongDunk, especially for Dunk who has to play ab student/intern again after already playing mature roles. Why can't they give those scripts/roles for the younger actors in the company?

I haven't read the novel but the plot seems to be average, nothing special. It's a common trope and i don't have high expectations. Like you said, it won't be a masterpiece regarding the plot alone... even if they will have a better director this time.

It was such a pity that GMMTV has messed up DYTD! This series had so much potential! And I'm glad that JoongDunk had in the Heart Killers the opportunity to show the world their acting skills!

I hope that they will get another opportunity für 2027 to play deeper characters in a well scripted storyline who is outstanding 💜 nonetheless i'm of course looking forward to HTSMC!

2. Hmm yes you have a point. I think we don't get a resolve of everything because it wasn't the main plot of the series and they had only 10 episodes.
3. That was a point i asked myself too. The "so called suicide" was an important aspect of the build up. They should have given us a proper answer. Perhaps it was clarified in the manwah?
4. I think after Songphon was reveiled as a filthy murderer everyone it damaged Sunnys image too because they were seen together and he was his backer so that the contracts might be canceled. And i don't think that Sunny is the type of man who has lived a humble lifestyle...
5. I'm not sure if it was Jays gunmen who shot Kongkiat. I think it was Songphons gunman because songphons was angry that he had lost all his influence and much money!
And i like the fact that Songphon actually killed himself with the teaser.

I started this series with no expectations but with every episode i was getting more hooked! This series is outstanding and definitely a 10/10 for me. I feared that the end could be messed up but they wrapped everything up so well.

First of all the acting was great. They portrayed the characters so well. There were lovable characters like the manager and Sun and the characters you hate the most like this filthy rich backer of Sunny. And then there are characters you aren't sure about if they mean well kike Pakin or Jay 😅 but it felt real.

Next: the storyline! I'm sure this series might not be anyones cup of tea because it isn't the typical fluffy BL. But it portrays the dark reality of the entertainment industry, the self struggles many (poor) people have to endure, the injustice of life and the power of money.

On top the character development of Sun was great. At first he was so closed up but at the end you see how he changed, how he started to smile, how he cares for others and himself.

Furthermore the Cinematography and OST were great! On top the length of each episode often around 75-90min . It felt like watching a movie and it never gets boring. Time flew by each episode and the ost is beautiful. The different style of the opening song as orchestral or piano version etc was perfect and matched the different situations. I really hope we will get the adaptations of this song as well!

All in all i was so satisfied with this series and the finale! I would recommend it to everyone who likes dark, sexy BLs with nonetheless many funny moments and a good, well scripted storyline 👍

Yes, after finishing this episode i thought too "well, there wasn't many JaySun scenes today... but somehow it doesn't bother me because I really like Skys plot as well!" And actually that's rare. Normally i don't like it when series spend too much time on side storys. But i really love Sky and his story was interesting and well written and acted!

And i don't think this will be a typical romantic story. Sun is so shut down. Today was the first episode where you could see some kind of emotions, these little smiles 💜 so i don't think we will get someone head over heels. It's more about bringing back the emotions into Sun even if their are only small on the outside.

And i totally agree with the OST! The piano arrangement of the intro is soooo beautiful 💜 i'd love to have the sheets so that i can learn it by myself or at least to have a piano version somewhere to stream.
