Her mom would have a stroke. I hope they moved into their own apartment, not the one her mom moved her to. I don’t…
I'm guessing ZY will move out of the place her mother got for her after she gets back together with LX and ZY's parents find out because there is no way her mother won't try to use the apartment as leverage to pressure ZY to leave him.
Does anyone know what's wrong with Korea?? why don't they have separate sports channels like other countries?
Most countries around the world air popular sporting events like the World Cup on regular TV channels. And obviously they delayed the drama because the World Cup has more viewers.
I hope it's the weekend already! So excited what will happen next. I have a guess that SN already knows that he's…
I don’t think he knew actually. He seemed shocked when he saw her during the wedding ceremony and it would make no sense to do that to throw the QD off the scent because acting surprised would only make it obvious that Seongnam already knew Chungha. Same with the wedding night overreaction.
I think he’ll be stupid about his wife for a while. Hopefully the queen talks some sense into him because he should know YCH is ride or die for him and doesn’t deserve to be mistreated.
in actors list no Youning, i think he is really dead
Dramas sometimes don't bill actors whose roles may spoil the plot, at least not until they've finished airing. Not sure if that's also true in China, but it's true for western and Korean dramas.
Uh, he pretty clearly dumped her in that flashback a few episodes ago? And hasn't contacted her in 2 years? This…
Yeah, the timeline is confusing because the kid died when DJ first started her job, so it's natural to assume it wasn't much earlier than 3 months ago; however, TH went to the military when it happened and then came back, which takes two years. Some eagle-eyed people in this comment section pointed out specific frames that show dates/years in the world of the drama and confirm that two years have passed. DJ took a very long time to return to the funeral agency.

Still not sure about the point of the watch feint. I hope it comes up again later so we can get an explanation.
No idea why XYN wouldn't have any photos of himself around the house other than the fact it made it easier to fake his death. I was going to say "what if he was also using a stolen identity and wasn't really XYN," but RZZ knew him since school, so that couldn't be it.
But there's definitely an in-universe reason for it. Several characters have remarked on the lack of photos, so it has to be important to the plot; otherwise they simply wouldn't have mentioned it and we he viewers would have thought nothing of it.
Since there is not much of an info about KJS and his ex's relationship, specifically how it ended, I can't decide…
Uh, he pretty clearly dumped her in that flashback a few episodes ago? And hasn't contacted her in 2 years? This is absolutely not a break and it is completely unreasonable of her to try to stake a claim on him out of nowhere TWO YEARS LATER.

What if, and this is only a guess on my part, Gao Jun was the real recipient of the money Xu Youning was laundering? And the money went missing after XYN "died," so GJ sent someone to RZZ to see if XYN had left it hidden with her? Just one possibility.
Another interesting thing: Yan knows Gao Jun. In the hospital, in episode 13, he calls the ML by the name GJ only…
The ML’s cover story is that he was introduced to Su Wen by Mr Yan, so we already knew that. If anything, Mr Yan indicates that the ML is working for the real Gao Jun IMO. Gao Jun must have got Su Wen’s number from Mr Yan by promising to help RZZ and then had the ML contact her. And the scene in the hospital where the ML was avoiding Mr Yan shows Mr Yan was used by Gao Jun to get close to RZZ, but isn’t aware of the con and thinks the person helping RZZ is actually his old classmate.
My questions here are:
1. Why did Gao Jun go to the trouble of hiring an impersonator instead of doing whatever he wanted done himself? Is it simply because he’s too busy to spend a lot of time with RZZ and gain her trust? In that case, why not simply send the ML to her and say he recommended him? However I think about it, the fake identity seems unnecessary.
2. Why was Gao Jun interested in Xu Youning’s death in the first place? What is his connection to the case?
And, as a bonus question, does the ML have a personal stake in the case as well, or did he only take it on for the money? A couple of scenes early on suggested to me he might have his own reasons for digging into XYN even before he developed feelings for RZZ, but it’s just a gut feeling I have.
That "you don't need to worry about me," "then thank you" exchange in the preview for ep. 8 kinda sounds like Chungha is going to act like the typical clingy SFL and ask Dongjoo to back off Taehee, which I really don't want to see. I really really really hope that bit of dialogue was misleading.
Yeah cuz she reminds the ML of the past he is running from
I don't get the vibe that she's a good person...? She seems very demanding of the people around her. A grown woman being rude to her mother's boyfriend and belittling her mother for having a love life, or crashing her ex's moment with someone else and just forcing the person he's with to dismiss herself out of politeness, trying to guilt trip her ex into acting like her boyfriend again... She seems bitter and self-absorbed to me.
If that lady that they are talking abt in ep 20-21, if it is FL/ends up as FL, I will get a heart attack. That…
You mean the one who hired the wedding DJ to impersonate Xia Xinliang (sp?)? I see no reason to suspect it's RZZ. If anything, the way the camera showed us Su Wen right after the guy said it had been a female voice on the phone makes me suspect Su Wen.
She worked briefly after university before leaving the workforce eight years ago, so I’d say 32-33. She also knew/was with her husband for 17 years, and we know she was in love with him at 16, which also supports 32-33 as her age.
What do you think about him saying goodbye to her only to follow her immediately afterwards to the bank
He's a weirdo and he's down bad. I don’t think he was planning to keep involving himself, not after he gave her that whole spiel about how staying in touch wouldn’t be good for either of them. But then he couldn’t very well NOT stalk her, you know? Him showing up at the restaurant to creep on her (in his REAL CLOTHES, not the Gao Jun getup, which felt significant) was also pretty funny,
OMG, I'm still on episode 18, but the scene at the pier was so good! Very well acted by both actors and fraught with psychological and sexual tension. The ML's offensive confession/proposition was a way to push and provoke RZZ as per his teammate's advice, but his harsh treatment of her was also borne out of genuine frustration. When he said "I like you," he looked almost angry—was it because he was mad at RZZ for passively accepting her circumstances, because he was mad at her for not telling the truth about XYN's money or because he was mad at himself for actually liking her and getting himself into this mess? I'd say all three.
(You could see earlier, when he offered to go over the court hearing with her, that he did it spontaneously because he wanted to do something for her, contrary to the rehearsed announcement that he was leaving Nanzhou and wouldn't be able to help her anymore. Again, very good acting in this episode, and we're finally seeing the ML's stony facade begin to crack a little.)
And RZZ's furious "I am a human, treat me like one" was so good. That's right, girl, don't take his bullshit! I love that she values her dignity above all else. (That's not usually how female characters are portrayed; pride is coded as a masculine value in most c/kdramas. Obviously it's not as simple in real life, and RZZ is a very lifelike character with a nuanced and distinct personality in place of the gender stereotypes that define the typical cdrama heroine.)
Also I appreciated the Wu woman saying it feels gross that a bunch of men are trying to con a poor widow. It's good to see female characters sticking up for each other!
