Have to see it. Loved her in TLIYE. Yoon Chaena is such a good little actress.
She was so sweet, cute and professional in her presentation, it was beyond belief. My heart leapt when they both came out to present.

I want to watch Seo Joon Young and Kim Si Eun win their awards. I will have to watch it this weekend.
Listen carefully to his speech. It's rather long.

I smell a break up coming.
I can honestly say, I've given up caring. The only character I'm vested in (or can identify with) at this point is EH. Everyone else is just too flawed to give-a-darn about. For the first time, I've FF thru the ES/SW scenes, as they seem irrelevant now.

I haven't been watching this drama for a while, so please let us know when things get better.
It may take a while, this show is frustrating beyond belief.

What amazed me, was that in that one presentation, we saw the child actors from all 4 dailies: BML (HimChan), TLIYE (MiRinae), AOME (JanDi), and UP (GaRam).

In his acceptance speech for best male lead, he said she still calls him 'Dad'

For all you GaRam fans, the 2023 KBS Awards (subbed) is now on Dramacool in 2 parts. He appears in Part1 of the show, about 5 mins in. He presents the Young Actor & Actress award, with, none other, than the little girl who portrayed MiRinAe in The Love in Your Eyes. Be prepared, the cuteness level is sky-high between the 2 of them, and they were great. (side note to those who loved Bravo, MyLife, the little boy who played HimChan was one of the nominees for Best Actor, but did not win).

Let's hope he sticks to it because if he fails to then that scene will be for naught.
I was wondering last night: Have HY & EA ever met? Do they know each other?

As I recall from a movie years ago: "Love is Blind...it's also Deaf, Dumb, and stupid".

Well, he still loves her. He's in the denial phase now...I suspect he'll stick to it until whatever happens where they are reunited, especially if it's due to traumatic situation(s). And notice he didn't say "those feelings I had are gone now"...He just said he hurts too much to go on.

I wanted EH to tell HY he saw her at the cafe. Truly hoping he doesn't talk to her again. Let HY be the one to…
I really wanted him to call her out. But he cares for her too much to embarrass her in public by calling out her lie. I was disappointed, but I get it.

I think her acting was much better in Bravo my Life, than this one. It is all over the place in this drama, but…
Agreed, BT. I figured he would get some kind of 'Comeback of the Year' award, or some such thing. But Couple of the Year? Seriously? They looked as awkward now as during the show!
And I was surprised by her appearance...she looks even more gaunt than during the show's run?

Title Unpredictable Family Spoiler
As before, I have to give the writers their credit. As crappy a job they seem to be doing since reuniting JA with EA/EH, Ep73 did the EH/HY arc right. From the beginning, when he first saw her with SW and the way his arm went limp with the roses, and then dropping them on the ground, to the scene at the cafe where he loved her too much to embarrass her by calling her out for lying, to the end where they both go home...it was 10/10. Even the part where he was drinking by himself in the cold, and after imagining her there briefly.. he FINALLY realized "I can't do this anymore". Just really good, including the choice of BGM. I've known guys like EH, where they just have to be kicked in the teeth repeatedly to finally get the message; so for me, although frustrating, this wasn't unrealistic.

And that long shot of the rose bouquet lying on the sidewalk was perfection.

So again, I ask: How is it that they can come up with wonderful scenes like this and they are so few and far between? In TRHC I used to joke that the show was written by 2 teams of writers, one good, the other bad and they'd take turns writing episodes. Here, it's on more of a micro-level - we get a great scene and then its a desert of "I could care less" scenes stretching on for multiple episodes.

Yeah, that had me shaking my head too. "Participation Award", for sure.

Well, thankfully EH finally came around. It's not easy at times to do the right thing in relationships. He escaped being her spare ("break-glass- in-need") boyfriend. They can finally move on to the next stage of their relationship. This should have happened 20 episodes ago, though, but it alleviates at least some of my frustration with this show. Bring on the Serial Killer!

Agreed! Her character in BML (Seo DongHee) was written consistently as a strong & fierce would-be mom who cared for and protected her child. ES, here, is not like that at all - her character is all over the place. I guess this is because they are trying to play her for 'laughs' at times?

BML still stands tall for me as the benchmark for daily dramas. I thought SangJi and Yang Byeong Yeol should have gotten Couple of the Year back in 2022; they were great together (they even sat next to each other at the 2022 KBS Awards last year).

Our cute little GR gave out an award on the 2023 KBS Drama Awards.
Is there a clip of this anywhere?
