For me, this is 8/10. Couldve been a 10 except that confusing (and unnecessary ) detective plotline (3rd MJ) just left me scratching my head, haha. Noja was cool though👍
Season 1 was so good...but this was one was so-so 🤷♀️ Action scenes, story and pace...quite boring. Humor was missing too. Wth happened!? 🤷♀️ Not to say that it's a bad drama...just not up to par. 7/10 stars.
Ive kept an eye On him since i first saw him in the kdrama, The Uncanny Counter. There was star quality written all over. Through the years, he made his mark in everything that he did,no matter how small the roles were. Then came The Legend of the Kitchen Soldier ...finally a lead role!! Wow, just wow! Didnt expect him to be so, so funny 😝 Hoping for more lead roles for him because the talent is just there 👍
This was easily a 10-10!! What a great cast! Chemistry was off the charts👏👏 If there's a second season, id be sad to have a totally different cast because this worked out so well for them. This was such a fun ride! More,more, more please 🙏
This was alright. Maybe an 8/10 👍 My impressions: special effects were solid and creative, FL and Queen Dowager stole the show. The men were ok...Cho Seung Woo was under utilized and deserved better, i think. Story was repetitive so after a few episodes, it felt like i was inside a loop. Surprisingly, it ended quite well so i gave it a higher rating than i thought I would.
Just finished this. It was perfect ❤️ Quite a hard watch because it was incredibly nuanced and deep. But , so well-made, so well-acted. This isnt for everybody, but those who get it, will consider it a masterpiece.
Enjoyed watching this! The story wasnt the best..too many things happening, story arcs were all over the place, character devt was confusing...and yet, loved watching it! All the actors were perfect esp Ha Ji Won and Ju Ji Hoon.,,,just incredible acting esp in episode 9. Just wow! I love how JJH makes an effort in making his characters stand out...so brave to try diff styles of acting. He just makes his characters pop! Honestly, just a 7/10 for me (and im being generous here) but if u love the actors, this is a definite must-watch👍
I love Ha jung woo! First saw him in Narco Saints, then this. Looking forward to seeing more of his kdramas. Mdl's rating system is so flawed because this drama is nowhere near 7.2. This is absolutely brilliant! Id rate this anywhere between 9 and 10.
Loving this kdrama! Sooo good! Why is this a 7.4?! Mdl has such a flawed rating system! If u like twisted, dark kdramas, this is it! The acting is also topnotch👍
Loved this!! It was a bit confusing at times....but all in all, so good! The cast was great, the stories were interesting..i just miss old school, 16-episode kdramas 🥰👍 Why is there no season 2? ML and FL were great despite not having a love angle. Chemistry between them, as well as the whole cast was topnotch!
Why was this even made? Season one was perfect! Rated this a 3, maybe 4 at best because the supporting cast was great. The main characters have 0 chemistry. Really missing Jung So Min here 😢
Wow, just wow!!! Really enjoyed this! A perfectly done makjang with so much depth and nuance...but at the same time,so entertaining and juicy! Kim Sun Ah was perfect for this and so was Kim Hee Sun ❤️ I miss this kind of kdrama! 10/10 for me!

Yes, it's incredibly frustrating to see ratings that dont reflect the actual viewing experience. I also try to read comments first or reviews from other websites like Imdb before i make a decision whether to watch or not 👍
