not that far into the drama yet but gosh, the songs r good

I love the story from the beginning til the end the Mixed of emotions and love are really heart breaking indeed. I dont know others say but the whole story made me sad and love. In reality makes me think if you can have someone to love and be loved that was so so great. My heart breaks bcoz still at the end i cant accept the short love story for them.

I'm so happy to see Chen Duling taking on the role of a main lead. I loved her so much as villain and she's really so pretty. If she can make me hate her character as a villain, then she also really made me love her character here as the goddess.

She has that calm and gentle aura in here that she portrays so well.

People might find WX and ZYZ relationship slow, but I actually love this. The calmness of their relationship, the slow burn, the progress and the old married couple vibes (lol). Other relationships have a more energetic vibe to them, but theirs is like a clear lake in the middle of the forest or a calm sea that meets a shore. I don't know how to explain it, it's so gentle and calm but also not dull. WX is also not a pushover and their meeting again scene was so memorable. The cinematographe and acting was awesome! I love their scenes where they just sit together, talk, and banter a bit like at the bridge during Qing Geng X Fei arc, and at the steps of the Kunlun Mountain.

I started this drama because I want to use it as filler while waiting for other episodes for the drama I was waiting to come out but ended up being hooked. Definitely not for filler purposes anymore. I love the gang so much, I hope they have a happy ending (and Li Lun finds new friends that will be good to him.). Haven't watched the latest episodes because of work but I guess I'll marinate it until new eps come out on Wednesday. TT

Anyway, I'm writing this while working and it turned into an essay. I should get back. I just had to gush about this drama.

Respectfully, I get your point, but honestly, the flashbacks add a lot to the story. It’s not just about jumping between timelines it’s more about understanding the characters’ intentions. Sometimes, you need those moments to really grasp why they do what they do. And yeah, the comedic bits? They’re hit or miss, but they keep things from getting too intense, which makes sense given everything the characters are dealing with.

Aside from the beautiful cinematography and aesthetics, the plot has actually moved forward a lot. The story’s really about groups coming together to investigate demons, forming bonds along the way, and trying to change what LinLun is determined to stop. The humor is how they cope, especially during the more intense scenes, and it’s part of what makes the show unique.

As for Moonlight trending on iQiyi, that’s mostly because Esther’s trending, not because FOF is flopping. iQiyi gave free episodes for a few days, and Esther’s fans have said she got done dirty during the MJTY era. FOF is still trending and only on a two-day break, so I’m not sure where the idea that it’s losing traction comes from.

What the hell is with the soundtrack about five minutes into ep15? It sounds like Sergio Leone doing a musical showdown with the Muppet Show chickens.

We all know what "cutting sleeves" means LOL and it certainly does not mean "cutting off ties"..If they wanted to "cut ties", then they would have used pears possibly. There's an alleged melon that Jiu was originally supposed to be older 18+ but to avoid censors they aged the character down.

This drama is building and gets better as it goes . Esp the last few episodes. The character building gives us insight to each character makes us bond to the characters . As this story unfolds I find the chemistry with this group so well meshed. I think this is Neos best work . His minute gestures , facial expressions speaks volumes . Love the dance at the end makes me happy and it looked like they all had fun dancing to Little Verses . .Yuanzhous Youth by Neo and Broken Tailed bird by Tian Jiaru and Little Verses by the group my fav right now.

From fabulous to mediocre. I enjoyed the fight scenes though.

I think the wrong characters were made to die in this drama, the likes of Concubine Yan, Mei Lin and Murong Jinghe. You just couldn't give us a happy ending on this one. Then those actually deserving death, lived. That ridiculous King of Xiyan and his Son shldnt ve survived in this drama. But well, I guess we can't always get what we want🤷

I waited for this drama to finish airing before I started, and I've just watched up to episode 39 on WeTV when I discover that episode 40 is only available on express... Come on! This whole only getting episodes on "express" is wrong for people who are already paying a monthly subscription! Grrr! Now I have to wait for the final episode argh.

I really enjoyed this drama. Finally not a drama that ends up in war nor unhappy ending 🙂
The plot was very good. It never got boring. There was not one episode I fast forwarded. The leads played their roles well and also all the supporting actors did really well.
I actually felt sorry for the SML in the end and just hope that one day he gets a chance of getting his love interest to side with him.
The chemistry between the main couple could be felt. Yes, they started off as siblings, but the transitioning to love interest felt natural. Yes she still called him "san gaga", but old habits don't die so quickly. This drama has so many different good storylines, it never got boring. Good drama 🙂
