I binged watching Ep1-4. Loved it. It is much better than the other three xianxia drama airing . The script is reasonable. VS looks handsome and cool. DYX is good at acting in those tough scenes. The color palette is good for the eyes. The lighting is okay. Costume is good. BG music was not too loud.
I have to stop watching Sword -Fox Spirit because of the over-the-top BG music and songs ..So loud , so annoying . It ruined all good fighting scenes. Stop watching LeoLuo because of Leo ' super skinny feature , awful hair and makeup . Why did they dress his hair like that ?? Stop GongJun 's drama because the script was not good.

Nope. It's the novel synopsis up there. Since they didn't apply the dream/rebirth concept in the drama, they kinda whitewashed some situations while also kinda murkying up FL's reputation to make the plot work as the novel.
Novel: Chu Yu escaped betrothal to Wei heir just to elope and marry Gu Chusheng. GCS treated her like crap so in her rebirth, she changed things up by staying and marrying Wei heir instead.
Drama: Chu Yu eloped with GCS (everyone knows which is awful for her reputation) but GCS left her. At the same time her family had a fell from grace, so she goes Nancy Drew to figure out who betrayed her family got her dad killed and brother injured. She seeks help from Wei Jun and ends up "marrying" him just to continue with the investigation

For the time being they are - they both want to make Anhe a legitimate sect and erase their dark past, free themselves from their controllers. But that is more SCH's dream than SMY. SMY would rather just disband Anhe and investigate the No-Sword City's downfall and revive it.
Miles Wei played a super evil crazy delulu bad guy in Flourished Peony / In the Name of Blossom. His character was so twisted and evil, even the actor himself probably didn’t like him 🥺🫣😳
Good luck everyone, enjoy your drama. I will come back when the drama is done airing, because....you know with the track record of the previous two dramas..., I am not prepare for another joy ride. :')

It was a happy ending but i but feel so annoyed. these type of endings are my least favorite
I knew it would end with her back in modern times and somehow meeting ml but at least her whole family couldve come back! im so mad. plus they didnt get together for sooo long i think for a 32 ep drama they dragged the misunderstandings between them
