I heard its not doing well in chinese platforms and the rating is also going down in mdl. Idk about others but I am liking it. its not THAT bad. I had to drop rmp at ep 2. This one is far better than that

Lately been disappointed with some actors in other dramas who has been stone faced and ruining the drama. I was…
This is the first time I'm watching a drama with Leon Zhang and I'm loving him so far. His visuals and acting are great.

Title Love in Pavilion Spoiler
Xiao Wu's death was completely avoidable. It's common sense if someone wants a character dead to have hella security surrounding them and with Zhang Rounan's character being the FL's bestie you think she'd have made that happen. Her and the ML cooped up with the carp demon while Xiao was getting tortured pissed me off.

And I hate it when characters kill themselves when the other person/ people do everything in their power to make sure they stay alive. It just seems like a complete waste.

I don't see how people can compare this to Fangs of Fortune the deaths on that drama made sense, here, it seems like they're killing characters just to kill them.
