I decided to watch the drama after much contemplation because there are a lot of comments saying they are disappointing or something but thankfully I did. I Don't understand why everyone are hyperfixed on the romance and ignoring how the drama's main theme is family! I really really loved the drama so much! It is very very beautiful! Every character is very memorable! This is a very well done drama! Nothing was boring in it? The length was also good if anything I didnt want to part with it! I loved the families the backstory the history and how they did the year 1999 very well! The youth and the innocence and the relationships between the parents and the children in different generations its truly a masterpiece! But most comments keep talking about the romance... This is a Family drama mainly so of course it wont be satisfactory to romance watchers. The romance however was shown in a different way! There was so much love in the drama family love and also the parents! They were so cute! I truly appreciate this drama for giving us different perspectives in a lot of things! I learned so much after watching it. Also although the male lead didn't show much but every time he comes he hooks me in! The details he showcases! His acting is extremely well done! I loved how he changed gradually! Im saying this again the drama is so worthy of watching I actually think of rewatching it soon I feel so sad that I finished it also I love the ending despite many saying its disappointing but I think its good not eveyone should end up married this is a realistic drama and as someone whose also about their age at the ending when I see my friends and classmates its the same! Some are married some are single and its diverse! Even though the love of the FL wasnt fullfilled but she looks confident and successful and I think thats what matters no? She no longer is the silent insecure person that in itself is a happy ending!
