Rewatch ??? No offense to the article writer but life is too short to rewatch shows like this (can't be watched whole even once) ... I will politely PASS
The only thing that annoyed me about this drama was the ending!

Like how hard was it for them to actually meet in real life and embrace. You could've even had them lean into a kiss and not kiss, or kiss and end the show there on that frame. I was just so unsatisfied that we didn't see future them actually together in a scene. Just separate shots. Annoyed me so much that I don't think i can rewatch the show 'cause the ending just needed more. 😭 Please anyone if there is an extra scene I missed let me know!
On my way for 3rd time of watching this drama, I can't relate with some of comments here. People have different tastes, anyway. It's a 10/10 drama and the best 2024 drama for me. I'm still not be able to move on from this drama yet. And I'm very glad that I started this drama despite of this rating. If I'd depended on the rating and comments here and not watching the drama, I'd have missed this gem!
It's a wrap! I thought I would end January without a remarkable C-drama. I only started this because I had run out of good things to watch. I actually took two days to finish episode 1. I kept going because it was fun, but it didn’t really hook me until episode 15. It took a while, but from that point on, I felt so invested.
The Xu Qian family is so kind — even the annoying and strict aunt isn't actually annoying. The elder brother is jealous but not evil. Even on the royal side, the sibling "rivalry" is very healthy. I really like this kind of setup.
I'm not a fan of Dylan Wang, but this is one of the few dramas I watched because of the good reviews. The character suits him well. His comedic timing is hilarious. I had a few laughs and a good cry too. I wish to see Lord Wei in s2, actually the whole family, the guardian. the realm sect, his bff in the alchemist bureau even the no back face Yang Qian Huan lol.. I love them all. :)
Great story with a lot of twists and turns. The main couple were especially good to bring this story alive. If we all knew what’s to come, will we start again? Very enjoyable

Also BS: very proud of her man n able to use his power to show off, and like protect my life! 🤣🤣🤣 (Ep7-ep8) 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Also love it when FY went off at her for letting go of his hands, and BS replied with a rather soft voice (instead of an angry tone): but you still followed me. Or how BS’s eyes lit up when FY said she’s with me so she has every right, her eyes is like: that’s my man! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 And in these two episodes, they already kinda tell that they like each other but kinda still in denial 🤣 I still love the 5mins of confusion when they first get into the realm of resentment
Don't they have to wait for one year between seasons? So, Spring 26?
LOL! They really get creative on how to go around those regulations. I hope they can make it. I would expect a lot more publicity for a series that close to release with a famous cast. S1 really left many open ends.
