Such satisfaction

I like to think of myself as a non violent person but whenever Pi O’s mom appears on screen i have this urge to land a slap on her face.

Its only ep 6 and my boy already proposed!! He was attracted at first sight, and then they played their lil tricks on each other and making fool of the others. And even when she misunderstood, splashed things and slapped him he was understanding. Who are you. While the men in modern age dramas are quite disappointing this was a happy suprise. This is how you win your girl.

True cause most men don’t deserve a second chance with their women .

Ok if he loves her more, did he cherish her more.

Honestly same. I just watched the last ep in 2x speed while skipping their intimate scenes. Hot , but im just tired of these two.

For the ex part, people move on from old relationships. She remembers that guy was a good part of her past. Just a old classmate with good memories. And they just went for lunch. I dont think it was wrong. She could have explained it to Luke more beforehand.

Girll sameee. Now that the drama is over i didnt want to fight over such things but they bother me too.
What was that “make you pay for it?” Not romantic. Not hot. Just made me feel off.

Same with the parents situation. How difficult would it be to respect her words. As an adult give her the space and time so she takes care of things. She is fully capable of talking with her parents.
And what responsibilities. Like only the girl is gonna suffer the consequences and hes a very good person for willing to be responsible . Its all upto Shang zitao to accept or reject. But if she rejects she will be the bad person in the eyes of everyone. The man said he will marry what more do u want. Such old mentality. Felt manipulative as u said.

I no longer want to bother with this drama. More than the drama itself, it was people’s stupid opinions that completely drained me. Seeing comments like these give me strength and sense that im not loosing my mind

Maybe the ep cut messed a lot with the drama. Idk what the director mean to convey. Did he want to change the character of Luke but also keep the same conflicts from the novel.
Her insecurities and his arrogance ruined their relationship? Simple as that yet not well done.
The episodes of him winning her back was so short lived and rushed. I stayed till the end to see those eps but i dont feel that satisfaction fully. We only saw a very small portion of Luan Nian. For majority of the drama he remained Luke to me. A strict boss and poor boyfriend. And we spent a lot of time with their eps of misunderstanding, less communication and getting back together without solving the problems.
I wanted to see Luan Nian more. So I could love him . Overall was disappointed with that. But I loved seeing Shang Zitao grow as a person. Im so proud of her for that. Thank you for not giving up on your dreams.

Men dont need to manipulate and gaslight women. They can do it themselves. I wish i am not surrounded by people in my life.

Im so tired. Idk when wqs the last time i was this tired over having different opinions with my drama community.

This drama showed us some complex character. Not a straight easy green or red flag. Just complex humans we cant put into boxes. Tbh its not even that hard but i see it is for many.

Why is kindness such a difficult thing to achieve. Why should Shang Zitao decode his hidden feelings and care. Shang Zitao never asked for protection. She wanted a bf who cares and shows them openly. Someone who is kind and supportive. Not a compliment here and there like she has to earn those compliments.

Luke is consistent. His consistency lead to their break up. He called her ordinary and dumb to the very end. Even in their final fight he asks why she cant take a loss. Im thinking if Luke is the one who is dumb. He knows that it was unfair that she had lost her specialist title. So why does he make some stupid comments.

Has the dramas made people stupid too. Someone who loves and cares deeply but cant show them is not romantic. He has sacrificed sm for her, he fought for her, he always was there for her in secret. You show them, only then can the other person feel loved and cherished.

If Shang zitao had felt loved Luke would be the first to know everything. The good and bad. Every small thing in her life. She’s hesitant because of how he made her feel. From their initial relationship to now, only she grew in the relationship. She communicated more and told him whats wrong. He assumed and fought and put out harsh words.

If you see their relationship with other poeple then you will know. Flora is good with her parents, friends and co workers. They all have nothing bad to say.
But with Luke he cuts off his mom’s, not always the best friend, a very strict boss. They all say Luke is sharp tongued. Its works for him because they dont have to deal with him all the time. But if they knew he was the same in relationship or worse with words then everyone would pity Flora.

Right. To think she felt Lime was fair, it was the work place she was proud of.

I wish Shang Zitao found someone new. Someone who didnt say one thing and meant the other. Someone who made her feel respected. Motivated her. Someone who didnt hide behind the mask of their own insecurities and just open with their feelings.
And when Luke comes back one day she could say she has really moved on. And no matter what happened in the past good and bad, especially the bad its all fine because it dont matter.
Even if she comes to know the truth of how much he did “secretly “ for her is know, she can say Thank you, but they dont matter anymore.

If you cherish a relationship you treat them well. Shang Zitao can live without Luke, but can Luke do that same. If he cant he should have cherished her well

Shang Zitao would be so grateful if she knew Luke and Tracy cared so much. But whats the use, they like to not tell her anything. Luke loves to tell quite the opposite things. As if Shang Zitao cant accept things for what it is.

Shang Zitao did. Luke didnt. He actually said the opp things that would hurt more

He repeatedly gave her reasons to believe that she was ordinary, dumb and not good enough. You would say he didnt mean them for real. Just passing funny comments. Its not fun. Shang Zitao never took them that way. Especially when they were the only other words he says to her.
His compliments are rare. His way of showing love is limited . Its as if he cant be vulnerable in front if her, like she will take advantage of him. While at the same time Shang Zitao is always as real as it gets. He behaves as if only she gets hurt and hes not loosing anything . Even now he said it could have been anyone else that he would have been in relationship with. Implying she’s not special to him.

Im at the break up. This guy says she cant accept a loss. She just have to keep on working hard and she will get it. How can someone be so inconsiderate to even a subordinate. I can only cry for how unfair this is for Shang Zitao. He couldn’t even inform her prior as to how the results are fixed. He says all the hurtful things to her.
Then we see him telling Tracy that its unfair and Shang Zitao deserved it. Very nice Luke. Thats how you communicate. Tell it to Tracy so she knows how fair you are. How much you care about Shang Zitao. So Tracy can know and appreciates you.

The more i think about it
So you see your gf of 6 years with her roomate and close friend hugging and crying and you conclude that she is cheating? That wants to hang out with other guys?
Does he know Shang Zitao as a person? Or does he not trust his gf that he had loved and known for 6 years.
My concern would be: why were they crying. Is everything alright. Is there anything i can help her with.

They broke up for 3 months cause when she proposed he said he never thought of those things. But he came back and communicates that he wants them back together. The only time we see Luke communicating and be vulnerable is when hes scared Shang Zitao will really leave him.

What happened after they got back together . Is their relationship public now? How is it any different from before. Timelines are little confusing but atleast a year passed after and things dont seem be that different for me.

Their commutation is still as bad. Except this time Flora directly asked him whats going on and resolved it because she reached out. Luan Nian was being petty and childish even after she told him what happened.
