Wow talk about a transformation! I couldn't even recognize him in Bloodhounds 2. Hoping he does every role he ever does from now on in a crew cut hahaha coz he looked crazy good and had immense range in Bloodhounds 2. I could've never imagined him in an action role prior to this for some reason too. Looking forward to more of his work!

I don't see why you think body shaming is okay when it's about men. Men are allowed to not be super muscular and…
What negative attributes did I ascribe onto ZLH tho? I haven't insulted his character or personal choices? I'm only calling out what looks unhealthy to me. You are right though that I am not aware of ZLH's exact BMI and physical condition or health. I do apologize for that assumption. My original comment was talking about the general toxicity regarding diet culture and weight management in cent. I'm sorry if it came across insensitive.

Great review—really enjoyed reading it! You captured the characters and their growth perfectly, especially Gunwoo…
Thank you so much! I'm glad u felt that way. The show is pure adrenaline and fun 😅

Ya i agree. This seasin had them being way too weak compared to the villains. On one hand i liked that they were not invincible but on the other hand, i wish especially woo jin had at least one fight way he properly won :( hopefully there will be a season 3 where they got back to their roots in terms of fighting together 🤣

Title Bloodhounds Season 2 Spoiler
Unpopular opinion continued: 6. Woojin in series 1 was such a spitfire. A hotheaded guy. He loves geonwoo but…
I agree but there's also a moment where they gave us a glimpse of the same Woojin. That moment where they're dealing with that disrespectful drug peddling bratty woman who is testing their patience and Woojin is holding their marine friend back from hitting her but then Woojin finally almost snaps and gives her the same bone chilling look...but he still holds back! I think that's incredible character growth coz we know the old Woojin wouldn't have held back. But like he's continued to tell Gunwoo this season, Gunwoo's influence on him is immense and the reason he is living well and that has made him the mature, level headed and patient man he is in s2. I do miss his ferocity too but it makes sense for his arc...

Title Bloodhounds Season 2 Spoiler
Wow that was so fun! Also what was that ending haha they're definitely teasing a season 3 right right right???? Also was park seo joon's character a bigger bad guy here pretending to side with gunwoo and woojin's side to bring in baekjeong over to his camp for bigger profits?? Coz minbeom gets a picture of baek jeong with a fatal head shot alluding to the fact that he's been killed off but then the end credits had them taking out makeup supplies to "make him pretty" alluding to the fact that baekjong wasn't killed and could return even more dangerous with a Thai drug mafia this time??

Also also i know I'm getting ahead of myself here but if at all s3 is happening and this is the direction they take with introducing Thai villains, we might even get to see some muay thai fight scenes 😅 omg exciting times ahead, i hope!!

And let gunwoo, woojin and family always be safe and protected 🙏

I'm worried about gunwoo choosing to go ahead and join the IKFC to relieve his loved ones of trouble. But it's looking very likely the direction for the drama at least for now...

I'm only on ep 3 but just wanted to shout into the void that this drama has been like a warm cathartic hug through the most difficult week of my life. I dont think I enjoyed s1 as much as I'm enjoying s2. The bromance is on point. The found family vibes and just how many gokd people are around gunwoo and woojin ready to throw their lives into risk jsut to support them feels so heartwarming to see again. The humor hits without being absurd. The fact that they even chose to add humor into the drama makes it so much more balanced with all the violence and gore.

Rain and his gang are terrifying. Somehow the villains seem even more violent and technically skilled in fighting than s1. Gunwoo and Woojin seem to be holding back from unleashing their entire strength but that could also just be coz it's only the beginning of the drama...and it's actually really refreshing to see leads who are obviously skilled but are also not invincible and continue to take big hits...i believe that's one of the most unique aspects of this series in general too...

Also has netflix shows always had so many cameos? It feels like I'm collecting pokemon every time i see a familiar face in a completely random setting and role haha

This was a decent drama. Had a great supporting cast and storyline. Was refreshing to see a drama with multiple couples after a long time. Just wished the pacing was better and the ending wasn't so rushed. The misunderstanding could've been resolved much sooner and given room for wrapping character arcs like haran learning to heal on her own, the Song family healing after years of trauma, etc etc. But none of this is a turn off. The drama is still worth watching for how comforting it is even in its sadder moments.

No offense to anyone else but Kim Nana in that last fit mogged every single person in the room...Lee Misook being casted in a grandma role in 2026 is insane to me, she is literally only in her 60s🤦‍♀️

Also Hayeong and Mr Coo deserved at least a hug, felt the teen couple got way more screentime than necessary when their relationship was already established. Oh well, it is what it is. Hoping to see Han Ji Hyun and Kwon Hyuk in more dramas in the future!

Wow ep 1 was killer!! So fun from the first minute. Bloodhounds 1 started off pretty slow establishing the world building etc but this one went straight to action. The bromance is just as alive, they integrated and established the supporting cast pretty well already. The villains seem extra nasty and even more sinister than the first part. Just hoping they dont become completely one note and cruel and have some moments of complexity too...

I don't see why you think body shaming is okay when it's about men. Men are allowed to not be super muscular and…
Why r u confusing having a naturally lean body type with calling out against being anorexic? Obviously body types r different and there's nothing wrong with that but the cdrama industry is notoriously known for pushing anorexic body standards and weight on both the male and female actors in their industry. U have to be incredibly naive to think a 190cm man in his late 20s can look this gaunt without adhering to an extremely unhealthy diet culture. Calling out this toxic diet culture isn't body shaming. Normalizing this by comparing this to people with normal body types just coz the actor "looks active and fit" on camera is the problem.

It's also about looking believable in roles. If you're supposed to play a convincing warrior then looking incredibly pale with no scars or signs of sun damage on the face is unrealistic. But i also said in my original coment that idol dramas have a certain market they're catering to so we can live and let live

I agree with the fact that generals have to embody the look of fierce warriors and it's tough to believe this when the general weighs less than the FL. But this is not on makeup and "beautifying". For eg. look at the generals from The Rebel Princess and Gone With The Rain, two of the most accurate depictions of generals who also didn’t need to look unattractive just to look the part of a fierce warrior. So both r possible. I think the problem is the extreme diet and weight loss culture in the idol drama industry to the point where generals don't look like generals anymore but frail fashion models who haven't spent a day under the sun. But again, these r idol dramas curated for a certain crowd so that point is valid too.

Honestly, live and let live ig 🤷‍♀️

Title In Your Radiant Season Spoiler
Ya i noticed that too...and turns out our theory about the bf cheating is true?! But maybe it's not the whole…
Alright!

Gosh this week's eps were so frustrating 😭 the leads were pissing me off. Chan waited too long to find out the whole truth before telling her and then expects haran to give him a chance to explain. We were right about haran finding it out herself and honestly im glad she did atp coz god knows chan would never bring himself to actually tell her himself. Chan seemed to be deluding himself about telling her, he seemed too scared to bring himself to say it which is why he kept postponing it to oh ill tell her after i have my whole memory, or ill tell her after the movie or after this and that...and there's Haran who keeps running away anytime something upsets her, worrying her family yet again without thinking about anything but her boy problems and personal trauma 😭 i mean i know she lost her bf 7 years ago but the other girls and grandma also lost their parents and family. Like writers, please give this girl some agency and a proper arc😭😭

They should've wrapped this up at least two episodes ago...now we're going to get a rushed ending for both chan and haran as well as hayeong and mr coo...🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ the other teo couples at least have their stuff figured out

Also we *still* havent gotten the mystery behind the explosion!! How ridiculous is this! Still no clue who sujin is in all of this or why she keeps behaving like a highschool brat

Do u think it will be a tragic ending? I really thought about it like i told u in earlier episodes but i dont think they will pull that anymore especially with the preview for the last episode. They'll probably meet up and go to their usual meeting spot and have a HEA and maybe chan's scarpel will be dealt with in an open ending manner. He might have some mild symptoms but nothing tragic

Honestly just hoping we get at least a hug between mr coo and hayeong since a kiss seems like too much to ask for with all this clutter😭😭 actually forget a hug too, just give me a confession from mr coo atp 😭😭
