Ah how I've missed good old action/mystery comedies like this one...they really don't make enough of this genre! Hope UH holds up till the last episode...also wanna take this opportunity to thank the Goddess of Genetics and Seo Kang Joon's parents for bringing him into this planet looking like *that* :") *squeals*
Ooh I loved Call it Love and The Secret Life of My Secretary by this director. They do enemies to lovers really well. Excited for this show and Kim Jae Young! Here's to hoping for the love of all things kdramas, they *do not* under any circumstances make this another loved-each-other-since-infancy🙏🫠
Thank you! Finally, someone that doesn't make radical feminism their entire personality trait! I'm glad you understood my point for what it is without taking it as a personal insult.
I'm a woman and I don't like kdrama simps whose only personality trait is to simp after the female lead from the first episode to the last without any other quirks, especially when the FL on the other hand is giving nothing at all to even simp about. Two cardboard cut outs in a staring contest. That's what it looks like. Just lazy writing and non-existent character development. If you're going to write a simp, Nam Goong Min's character in My Dearest is how you write one
I've been caught fully off guard by this show...to think that I'd completely overlooked this drama when it first started airing because the summary on MDL didn't sound interesting. But then I randomly decided to watch it while waiting for Undercover Highschool to air and oh my god, what a FUN watch. Best example of execution >> concept.
So engaging right from the first episode, fantastic OST, the perfect length of episodes, not too long, not too short, GREAT casting, each of the new faces I'm seeing are so good at their individual roles. They all have such natural chemistry between themselves. And I totally overlooked Minhyun this whole time since Alchemy of Souls...he was made to do this role. Brings a natural innocence to his character but his stunts are equally convincing.
I don't think I've enjoyed an action/thriller as much as I'm enjoying this one since Bad and Crazy. I'd been looking for something along the same vein, combining light hearted moments, crazy humor and wonderfully choreographed fight scenes with a solid cast and chemistry. I think the best shows are ones that make you feel like they ended too soon and should've had more episodes, and this drama checks all of it.
I really want this pairing! But I’m beginning to hate speculative articles with ”in talks”, “reviewing”,…
I heard that the agencies themselves just make it sound speculative even though they never give out these details until they are usually "confirmed". So in this case too you can be pretty certain that this *is* a done deal unless god forbid someone gets into a scandal etc.
I thought that pic in the article was out of a kdrama lol...the clarity and quality! Needed to do a double take to confirm that it was Taecyeon. Definitely does not look like a sasaeng pic to me...those are usually grainy and pixellated and the subjects are usually lightyears away in the frame like they were shot on a telescope...and since when is the go-to proposal pose known to every human ever just a birthday present haha...these idols and their fans need to chill xD
