I don't understand why the people are suddenly hating this. Getting the same rate as Perfect Crown makes no sense even with the time travel back and forth. Would I prefer it if they just left the past alone as a tragedy without needing correction? Yes,however the plot still makes sense, can be followed and is not boring to watch especially thanks to the actors. I understand that having more time together as a couple in the end would be ideal but this drama has given as plenty of cute dating/being together scenes. As a person who drops the majority of kdramas around the end or just watches the final scenes to see how they ended,I am still watching this properly which is rare.
Its either a childhood soul swap triggered when Seori faced the drowning in the car due to her parents. The real…
Yeah but if they exchanged bodies/timelines in childhood, why did the shaman mention that the adult Dan Shim in Joseon is completely different than the current time travelling Dan Shim/Seo Ri? They are supposed to be the same person...Seo Ri switched bodies with Dan Shim in childhood and grew up in Joseon as her, before she got poisoned.
I'm kinda confused because according to the current theory that I originally believed to be true,Seo Ri was switched back in childhood and happened now to return...which makes sense with the plot. But why did the shaman say that adult Dan Shim didn't sound like the current one at all? Technically, had she been switched in childhood, adult Dan Shim must have been Seo Ri. Unless it's just a reincarnation plot (though the back and forth wouldn't make sense in this case)
I think at this point it's quite obvious that Dan Shim is the original Seo Ri,but since she doesn't remember it she thinks she ought to go back to Joseon. but what the shaman probably meant is that the souls will lock in their original bodies after the comet passes and no more exchanges will take place. Se Gye seemed pretty upset in the preview though with all this nonsense 😐
I was not expecting the white truck of doom cliche in this drama, but I was sadly expecting a mechanism for her to back to Joseon, though I didn't want her to. We've been watching two stories going on at the same time and the writers probably feel the need to give a good ending to both but I don't think it necessary. The fact that the past story was considered done (she dies,he is exiled) gave the present story even more importance imo.
I like to think that the past life is a kdrama with a sad ending and we are now watching the happy ending reincarnation that we wish for when our favourite dramas have a sad ending.
Am I the only one wondering what will happen with the real Seo Rin? Is she dead? Is Lady Dan Shim returning to Joseon eventually before the events that lead to her death and fix everything before it's too late? (I hope not but kdramas usually lead there)
I haven't watched the final two episodes yet but did they seriously abolish the monarchy? So basically there was no point rooting for him to become king during the second half...? Jesus
I liked this cause it's entertaining and the FL is a powerhouse. However, with the protagonists being tied to a past life or god knows what,I fear that this might get messy. Hoping I'm wrong
Ok look,I am absolutely not into whatever nonsense this 2nd ML is up to and character-wise he is just a loser but I have to say,it's probably the first time the actor is so hot I can't stop seeing it no matter how annoyed I am 😅 Like damn
Am I the only one who thinks the pacing & editing of this drama are off? Which is unfortunate cause it looks…
No,I also find the pacing weird. I feel like we get like two or three scenes of substance per episode, and the rest is random stuff or slow motion/music stuff. Also, for a contract marriage drama,it takes a little too long to reach this marriage.
