Fn it's kinda childish. The FL did try to hurt ML, even if it wasn't on purpose. Also, he's like a crown prince here, why's she acting all mighty with him? She should be thankful that he's only asking her to be his musician. I don't think the ML understood that he was deaf back then, when he first met her. Cause he could hear her music, and prior to that he wasn't deaf. So rn, his only clue was the place they met and the jasper. Maybe he thinks Shan is the girl cause of the jasper and cause her sister lives in the place they met before. And this Su Ruo Shan, she's really a white lotus. She started as a loving sister and now she's stealing everything from her sister. She should've cleared the misunderstanding from the beginning, even if she has ambitions. Huang Ying is also really annoying, but I think Jin Shang Yu cares for her, cause even though he knew Ruofei was his childhood friend, he still chose to protect Huang Ying. And I can't with Yun Shang anymore, the throne is his brother's, so obviously since his brother didn't have a heir back them, the only heir was he. Rn there's Yun Mu, why does he keep thinking that the throne should be his? Even to the point of attempting to kill his own nephew🤡
The only normal person as of now is Jin Shang Yu, as expected of Caesar Wu😃 also Yun Mu's bodyguard

What pained me was that he was talking about his late wife when Moeum suddenly kissed him. She didn't even ask if he has gotten over his loss. I think Danho will end up giving in, but the approach they're taking is too cheap for this drama. LND is dealing with losses, with emotional and physical pain, CSH and CSK's love line had to go through that for them to get together. I thought Moeum would try to help Danho and Yeondu get over their past, help them go on and eventually help Danho fall in love again. Rn she's just doing her wishful things🥲🥲

JOL is the first cdrama which I have watched and had more than 40 episodes. But let me tell you, it became one of my top 3 dramas within the 1st season. It's so enjoyable that when the ending is near you actually feel sad 🥺 I was soooo sad when I was finishing the second season, having already watched around 75 episodes😭 now I'm eagerly waiting for season 3 cause there's no drama out there (as far as I've watched) better than JOL in both, cinematography and story (ik there're some predecessors of JOL, but I've dropped them LOL😂)
I think it's worth a trial, the number of episodes is just a number 🤪😂
Shen Manning is really strong. She was thrown into this chaos, so her reaction at the beginning was justified. But she tried to get used really fast, and she's acting like a boss in less then 10 episodes. She gave financial ideas, and later gave design ideas. She's really intelligent, but since people think that YXC's the one behind her, they don't know that she's the one doing everything. Even when she ran after the director, it was her that got him. She's impressive. She was only a girl with a dream that wanted to support her family and do her paintings, but in such a short time she got to do so many things. Even YXC is impressed

I was actually holding my feelings quite well, till in modern times he saw her harp, and he saw that she broke the strings that meant "I miss you", I couldn't....😭 her belongings were saying that she missed him, even his jade that stayed with Tongchang's family cause she wanted him to receive it in the future. This drama was really beautiful.

They bicker a lot, like, a LOT (it's cute!). But they don't usually fight. When they fought they had their reasons, and it got resolved pretty quickly. The drama itself is good and funny, from the beginning to the end. Both leads had their resolutions but it seems the people here on MDL forgot it, so don't listen to their complaints. I suggest you try and see for yourself if you'll like it
The story is good, it has many similarities with YAMG. But this one felt refreshing. The FL is naturally cute, so it was pretty enjoyable. The drama started off strong, the ML didn't know the FL, he had a misunderstanding and didn't like her, but he tolerated her. It was quite good seeing him fall in love. But they lied a lot so it was a bit uncomfortable, to each other and to other people. Everyone lied in this actually. It's somehow a comfort drama, without big challenges and all, they created the misunderstandings themselves and resolved it and that's it. I skipped the second couple. That's it😂 It's my first time literally skipping almost everything about a couple in a drama.
But there's a misunderstanding that I didn't see getting cleared. When Zhuang Yu came back he tried to explain to her why he didn't go to the botany and why he left all of a sudden, but he never had the opportunity and they never mentioned this again. I wonder if they cleared this misunderstanding. Also, some things were also quite rushed and weren't explained. For me, it doesn't have a rewatch value, cause their relationship starts with a lie (they told her parents that they were dating), and everything in this (first) relationship was forced, so even though it was enjoyable as a first watch, I don't consider rewatching it. Their (second) relationship improved after he started pursuing her, from here on it's quite cute/bothersome. She was right to be angry, but many of the things she did to him he did to her, so some parts I didn't understand why she was so angry. Also, everything other than the main couple is bland and tiresome. I skipped so many scenes, and I watched most of it (the scenes without the main couple) on 2x. For a first watch, cute. But rewatching...😅

Not only CSH, I'm also loving Moeum and Danho. I think I'll skip all Seokryu's scenes and only watch Moeum and Danho's till Seokryu decides to do something right at least once. She's only playing with CSH's feelings rn.
