I didn't sympathize though. It's obvious why he chose that path and I just said it. You can see at the end, when his father finally was honest, that if he had a family nothing would've happened at all. The family he was trying to create wasn't a loving one, he just wanted to have one. This isn't being sympathetic

Everything that happened in Eastern City could definitely have been avoided if he knew the truth back then, he even believed everything Jiang He told him 3 years prior to this.
