do you know the name of the OST/song that was playing towards the last couple minutes of episode 18 where Jia Fan is holding Yi Jings hand and walking out of the the office?
Vagabond made a full circle, it starts with the ending and goes back to how we got there... then ends. They never…
If I'm being honest, I probably wouldn't watch the second season of Vagabond either. I just gave an example off the top of my head, one of many dramas with an unsatisfactory open ending that needed a second season, and I'm hoping Buried Hearts won't follow Vagabond's path and will actually release a new season.Vagabond might have not promised a sequel, but it was definitely needed, and the same goes for this drama.
I just hope this drama doesn't turn out to be like Vagabond, where we have to wait indefinitely for many years for a potential second season that will probably never happen. Ever since Vagabond, I've hated KDramas with endings like this.
Did the Jia Fan's eyes get cured by the end of the drama?
Oh, ok, I'll keep going. I thought his eyes were not curable, so I was holding back, as I would've felt bittersweet if his eyes were not cured. Thanks for telling me this; now I can watch in peace.

I'm only on episode 11. Does this surgery completely fix his eyes? What's the surgery for exactly — does it just simply extend the time before he goes blind?
How many times did you rewatch it? Me : YES! 😂 It's 2025 and I still need season 2 😭😭😭
I've heard that the ending is a happy one, but from what I've seen, isn't it more of an open ending? It doesn't show them meeting outside the game unless I'm mistaken. I haven't watched it yet, but I don't really like endings that leave room for interpretation instead of giving a definite happy conclusion.
Same... I hope there's a miracle somehow. I personally wouldn't consider this a happy ending even if they end…
I see your point, but I’d still consider that a bittersweet ending. Technically, it would be a happy one if you simply think of their present, but it would also leave a strange feeling—knowing that one day, he would never see her face again, never walk with confidence again, and never witness the light of either day or night, that's why i'd think of it as more bittersweet than happy.
Sure, at the end of the day, it would be realistic if he didn't get cured, as it's said that there's no cure. It's more of my wishful thinking, hoping to get an unrealistic happy ending.
cant they surprise us with a miraclewhy do they want to break our hearts with this eye disease
Same... I hope there's a miracle somehow. I personally wouldn't consider this a happy ending even if they end up together in the final episode unless his eyes are somehow cured. At most, it would be a bittersweet or open ending, since we know he will go blind eventually, even if they end up together.
Is this couple the only couple that is currently still dating?
Are Wang NengNeng and Luo La still dating?
EDIT: I just saw their Douyin videos they made together a couple of weeks ago, so I guess they are still together.
