whoever comes up with the idea of 1 ep a day should be fired from the entertainment industry 😡
*Sorry for the long ass reply😂 ignore if you want* I see your point, 1h 20min dramas are pretty uncommon though, so I still think C-dramas are still a blessing, even if there's a cliffhanger, you only wait a day instead of a whole torturous 7 days. K-dramas usually have 16 episodes, each about 1 hour and 5 minutes, while C-dramas often have 24 episodes at 45 minutes each—roughly both dramas totaling the same length. A K-drama can take 16 weeks to finish with weekly episodes, while C-dramas often start with a batch release and then air daily. Even without the initial batch, a typical 24-episode C-drama takes only about three and a half weeks to complete, compared to 16 weeks for a K-drama. Some C-dramas have 40 episodes, which is also common, but even then, it would take only about five and a half weeks to finish. So my point is that kdramas only have an extra 15-20mins to them, I'd rather they have 45 min eps released daily with 24 episodes, rather than one 1hr ep released per week. Im just yapping now 😂, sorry for the long unnecessary reply haha, I just wanted to get my point across.😭
It's crazy how, in the 10 years from 2006 to 2021, he was only in 10 dramas. But in 2024 alone, he's already been in four, with one more upcoming! Wow, he's finally active. I just hope that once all these dramas are released, he doesn't go on another three- to four-year hiatus from dramas like he did after Jirisan. One or two dramas a year is more than enough for his fans.
It's clear that during those hiatus years, he was starring in movies, but I kind of hope he focuses more on dramas instead. Since they're longer, they give fans more to enjoy.
This is a sequel to the first season - Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty. You could probably get away with just watching…
How low of a focus are we talking about? are there any kiss scenes between them, or is it simply having a crush or something like that? haven't watched season 1 yet so I'm curious.
