Ah, I wish all the episodes were released at once... It's only 10 episodes too. I guess it's a good thing at least two episodes are released per week instead of just one.
How is the ending of season 2? Does it have a happy ending? Also, if it does, do the main leads end up together? also, I know that the romance is not the main plot, I am just curious.
The book has a HE.Based on how the drama has been following the book's main story, it is likely to have a HE too.Hello…
I’m not too familiar with these ancient Chinese drama genres yet, so bear with me. I’d love recommendations of any type set in ancient China, whether fantasy or more grounded.
Uh… this is not wuxia drama - action, generally historical history based. It’s a xinxia drama - more fantasy,…
I'm basing this on the 'Genres' section shown on MDL. The 'Tags' includes xianxia, so I'm guessing this drama contains both wuxia and xianxia elements(but leaning more towards xianxia). Of course, I haven’t watched it, so I can’t say for sure. However, based on the 'Genre' and 'Tags' section on MDL, I don’t think I’m entirely wrong in what I said.
Is this drama worth watching? How's the romance? Are the leads officially a couple, or is it more ambiguous? Does the ending seem to be heading towards a happy conclusion?
Although it's still ongoing, I imagine some people might have an idea of whether it's leaning towards a sad or happy ending. I recently watched my first Wuxia Chinese drama, Guardians of the Dafeng, and I loved it. I really want to watch another Wuxia after enjoying GOTD, so I thought I'd give this one a try.
If anyone has any Wuxia suggestions that include romance (even as a subplot) and have a happy ending, I’d really appreciate it.
no idea about how this ends but there's no way it will be a sad ending
I already knew the romance was more of a subplot, however as I'm still on the earlier episodes, I'm was just wondering if he's gonna go back to his original world and basically leave the people of Dafeng and whatnot, including his lover, the princess. That's what I was trying to basically say when I mentioned if they'd have a happy ending or not.

oh ok, can you let me know if the FL and ML have their happy ending together once you've watched the final episode on its release? I still have quite a way to catch up to the latest episode so it'll be reassuring to find out.
Since you said this drama is worth watching, I’ll give it a shot.
