Uh… this is not wuxia drama - action, generally historical history based. It’s a xinxia drama - more fantasy,…
I'm basing this on the 'Genres' section shown on MDL. The 'Tags' includes xianxia, so I'm guessing this drama contains both wuxia and xianxia elements(but leaning more towards xianxia). Of course, I haven’t watched it, so I can’t say for sure. However, based on the 'Genre' and 'Tags' section on MDL, I don’t think I’m entirely wrong in what I said.
Is this drama worth watching? How's the romance? Are the leads officially a couple, or is it more ambiguous? Does the ending seem to be heading towards a happy conclusion?
Although it's still ongoing, I imagine some people might have an idea of whether it's leaning towards a sad or happy ending. I recently watched my first Wuxia Chinese drama, Guardians of the Dafeng, and I loved it. I really want to watch another Wuxia after enjoying GOTD, so I thought I'd give this one a try.
If anyone has any Wuxia suggestions that include romance (even as a subplot) and have a happy ending, I’d really appreciate it.
no idea about how this ends but there's no way it will be a sad ending
I already knew the romance was more of a subplot, however as I'm still on the earlier episodes, I'm was just wondering if he's gonna go back to his original world and basically leave the people of Dafeng and whatnot, including his lover, the princess. That's what I was trying to basically say when I mentioned if they'd have a happy ending or not.

oh ok, can you let me know if the FL and ML have their happy ending together once you've watched the final episode on its release? I still have quite a way to catch up to the latest episode so it'll be reassuring to find out.
there is not even a single romance until ep20+.this is really not a romance drama.
I haven’t watched this yet, but I’ve seen some romantic scenes from spoilers online, so there’s definitely some romance. It seems more like a subplot or, as the user mentioned on the reply to my previous comment, a slow burn. I’m fine with either, as long as there’s some romance in it.
curious... when will the release date for the final episode be? the one on MDL is not accurate. I plan to watch it after finding out if its a happy ending or not, but I'm getting impatient as I really want to watch it soon.
Not sure but she signed with 3 different agencies between 2019 to 2023. Her "comeback" to the silver screen (this…
Yea, main lead roles might be difficult now but sadly she's not even support role or even guest role, she just full on disappeared from the industry, how sad.
What happened? She's been gone for four years now without any work whatsoever. I wonder what's going on, as I don't really keep tabs on her outside of her work.
Since you said this drama is worth watching, I’ll give it a shot.
